They responded politely and quickly from the time of booking, and it was my first private lodging, but I was able to go to the local area with peace of mind before my stay. I stayed with three adults, the Japanese-style room was clean, spacious, and I had a relaxing stay, the Western-style room had a TV, a refrigerator enough for three people, books and magazines, and I was able to relax on the sofa. I stayed for two nights, but they were flexible with various things. I rented the bath in the main house, but it was very spacious and I was tired of traveling. All three of us raved about Chika's personality, and we arrived home while talking about wanting to visit again. This time, the walk to the sea was a few minutes' walk away, so I would like to go for a walk next time.

Perfect Getaway by the River! I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming property! The location is unbeatable, with easy access to a beautiful river where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The nearby hot spring was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The property also features a lovely terrace, perfect for BBQs. We were thrilled to find that the local store, just a short walk away, had everything we needed for a delicious BBQ, including fresh local ingredients. For families with little kids, there’s a swing and a trampoline that kept the kids entertained for hours. One of the highlights was the incredibly friendly and welcoming owners who live next door. They were always ready with great tips about the area and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a digital detox, a tranquil escape with the comforts of nature, great amenities, and the warmth of a local family, this is the perfect spot.

A farmhouse in a rural location with shrines and temples nearby. Local onsens and cherry blossom. We had great practice making fires in our wood fired heater - very cosy. The host cooked us a delicious home-cooked dinner of local specialities and also gave us some of her homemade plum wine - oishi desu yo!

Great place if you're a visiting surfer and don't have a car that can hold a surfboard. The break is only a 10-15 minute walk. I stayed in the economy shack which was still great and super comfortable, but they have had some really cool, neat rooms throughout the property that I'd like to try if I came again. Oh and they also have a pretty good selection of boards for you to rent and it's not a problem if you want to switch it out with something else.
