Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

This accommodation features one bedroom upstairs with a bathroom and toilet. 1 additional bed (comfortable sofa bed) in the living room, a dining area with all the necessary kitchen equipment, and a washing machine. The accommodation was fully renovated in 2022. A decor inspired by the Doué la Fontaine Zoo A spacious terrace, sheltered from the wind and out of sight, will allow you to spend pleasant moments.

River View Cottage is directly on the River in The Loire Valley...close to all the Vineyards and Famous Chateaux's, where you may enjoy using our Paddle Boards and Kayak to explore or have a massage to take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. There is excellent fishing from our private dock ! Small, friendly dogs under 5kg Only !! are welcome, as we have a very small Yorkshire Terrier who will want to play and be best friends with your dog...

Ideally located for local attractions, including le Puy du Fou (30 mins), le Marais Poitevin (30mins), la Forêt Domaniale de Mervent-Vouvant (25mins) and Vendee's stunning coastline (50mins), with La Rochelle and Les Sables-d'Olonne only an hour away. In a green setting we offer a quiet, warm, self-contained loft, a short walk from the city center, close to shops and 20'walk to the SNCF train station. We have kept the authenticity of the place and provide a complete service (linens, cleaning, hot drinks, private parking for your bikes or motorcycles only, firewood...). On 40M² we host independently from 1 to 4 people (a queen bed, a 130 sofa bed).
