Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lagoa de Albufeira

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s place. The house is wonderful, has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s huge and beautiful and very comfortable. We travelled with our 2 young children (2 &4) and it was perfect. The outside space is also lovely, nice pool and outside seating with sun or shade. The area was lovely, supermarkets etc nearby. Also went to an amazing beach and restaurant on Jorge’s recommendation. Communication throughout was easy and helpful. They even stocked the fridge for us with dinner on our first night. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you! We’ll be back.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Notre séjour était génial, la villa est incroyablement belle. Les hôtes sont réactifs et accueillants. Les alentours sont joli, et la plage est à 10 minutes en vélo. Je recommande fortement

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Teresa, qui est une hôte très accueillante ! Tout était parfait, le centre-ville de Sesimbra étant accessible à pieds. Nous avons adoré la vue sur la mer depuis le rooftop du bâtiment, sans parler de la piscine et du jacuzzi ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Beijinhos!

Ana and Jorge's flat is lovely - clean, quiet and comfortable, in a great area of the city away from the busy areas but with everything easily accessible. We found Ana and Jorge to be very kind and generous hosts. We felt very much looked after. Lisbon is a beautiful and interesting city and this is the perfect flat for a lovely holiday. Walk five minutes to the viewpoint at the top of Parque Eduardo for the most stunning view!

Wir haben eine klare Anweisung, bekommen, wie wir auf das Grundstück kamen. Das Haus war sauber und komfortabel. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und beantwortete alle Fragen auch im Voraus. Das Haus war sehr schon, so wie auf den Bildern. Viel Platz für 15 Personen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

We loved this apartment. It is very spacious and decorated nicely. Kitchen is well equipped allowing us to easily prepare meals. Beds were very comfortable and linens of good quality. Bathrooms very clean. We felt very comfortable here and very safe. Minutes away to catch city bus for your adventures and also within walking distance of many areas if you like to walk. Grocery stores nearby. Hosts we fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

Pedro & Aiza were amazing hosts! Very on top of things and proactive, as well as simply being very kind people on our little excursion to Lisbon! The neighborhood is lovely, with restaurants right outside, yet the place never felt loud at night. So much to do nearby, all in all a lovely spot to pick for your vacation.

Annemies place is perfect, this is our second time here and can safely say we will 100% be back again, Annemie is also the perfect host, whenever there is an issue she will be right on it and is unbelievably friendly and helpful

Wir haben uns bei Nuno sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Woche in Lissabon, die Lage war perfekt und die Wohnung ist sehr charmant.

Juan es un host súper preocupado. Desde el inicio fue súper claro en sus instrucciones y siempre estuvo muy dispuesto a responder nuestras preguntas. Una vez que llegamos fue muy atento y nos hizo sentir como en casa. El alojamiento está en una ubicación muy buena respecto a los puntos de interés más típicos que se visitan en Lisboa.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Nous avons passe un super sejour. Appartement propre, clair, spacieux super bien equipe de la cuisine aux chambres SDB Stationnement devant mais nous avons beneficie du garage. Nous sommes ravis de notre voyage au bord de la mer. La maison était impeccable, quel plaisir d'avoir l'océan à quelques pas. Et David a été un hôte plus que prevenant et reactif car notre voyage a été riche en aventures: nous sommes arrivés le jour de la grosse panne d'électricité qui a paralysé le Portugal, notre fille a fait une otite et a été piquée par un poisson et à chaque rebondissement David et ses parents nous ont aidés, emmenés à la pharmacie et pris régulièrement des nouvelles. Le village est tout petit, et un peu rustique, avec malheureusement une grève des éboueurs qui le ternissait un peu lors de notre visite. Il y a de bons restaurants et une supérette avec de super gentils commerçants. On recommande !

Tiago's place was the perfect antidote to a couple of days in beautiful and busy Lisbon. If you're looking for peace, then this is the place for sure. All we could hear throughout the days and nights was the wind in the trees, and birds. And speaking of which, this part of Portugal is famous for its storks - who you'll find nesting in abundance around the area. Amazing. There's a hammock to read or sleep in, as well as various places to hang out in the extensive garden. Perfect for chilling! The house has everything you need, and when we entered the kitchen, we found red wine, beers, fruit, and cheese; all for us. I can't recommend this place highly enough. And when you venture out south to the beautiful countryside of Comporta, you'll find deserted beaches (at least when were there in early May - off season) as far as the eye can see. We will be coming back.. maybe every year!

Heerlijk verblijf. Toen heel Portugal zonder stroom zat hadden wij stroom, internet en een zwembad. Marie Louisa stond altijd klaar, ook toen mijn dochter tandarts nodig had.

This Airbnb was exactly what my group was looking for! The house looked just like the photos, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Rudy’s mother, Sylvie, who kindly introduced us to the space. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely additions, and having a walkable grocery store nearby was super convenient. Rudy and Sylvie were very responsive and made us feel truly welcome. We would absolutely stay here again—thanks for a wonderful experience!

Renata is a wonderful host, she is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Highly Recommended.

Maria and her husband were lovely hosts and for our family of 9 it was a great place to stay and spend time together. We especially enjoyed the area around the pool and the kids went in when the weather would allow it. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was also ideally located for everyone to go off on their own sometimes. Some went to the China market across the street, some went grocery shopping, some to the playground and some to McDonalds which is all close by. The local market with fresh fish, vegetables and bread is also just down the street, in walking distance, and full of local life. In general the possibilities for grocery shopping in the neighborhood are good. Thank you so much to Maria and her husband for having us!

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

Wir hatten trotz Regenwetter eine tolle, erholsame Zeit bei Lurdes. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit super Sightseeing und Restaurant Tipps versorgt. Elisabeth war immer für uns erreichbar und reagierte sehr schnell. Der Meerblick von der Terrasse ist großartig! Der in der Nähe liegende Strand (wir würden ein Auto empfehlen) hat tolle Bars und klares Wasser. Das Haus ist sauber und wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Vielen Dank!

Truly a wonderfull house with beautifull views! Even though we had not the best weather, the heated semi-indoor pool is just amazing. The toys for the kids and the playground is also a big big plus. You dont have the bring anything. The house and surroundings are even better in real life then the pictures. Margarida and Abel are the most wonderfull hosts and give you a very warm welcome. We will come back, no doubt!
