What guests are saying:“A true hidden gem! I’m originally from this area and was looking for a place near New London Spicer. Nestmont Cottage is very private yet close to everything else you need (coffee shops, ice cream, grocery, hiking, beach/lakes). We spent our mornings and evenings on the deck and saw lots of wildlife and loved the fresh air and peaceful view. The interior was clean, open and decorated to make you feel at home. I would recommend to anyone whether you want a romantic getaway, vacation home with the kiddos or a staycation.”
Nice cozy cabin with new central air/heat situated with a great view of Lake Minnewaska and close to the beach at Starbuck. The boat launch is across the street and for larger boats the marina is only 1/4 mile away. Excellent fisherman's location.
What guests are saying:“The cabin is just as described. Lots of extra kitchen utensils which made cooking so much easier. The kids loved the tv and wifi! Pet friendly was a plus because it’s so hard to travel with pets now days. The beach is across the road and we used a public boat launch down the road. Only downfall was having to trailer your boat multiple times as there is no public dock to tie up to. We didn’t see a fire pit but it was too windy during our stay to have a fire anyways. Neighbors were friendly too!”
Very private 15 acres just 3 miles from town. Walking trails, good for four-wheelers, snowmobiles, horses and more! Glacial Lakes trail is attached to our property. Great big open common areas, and a large walk out living room with a 65" flat screen. Parking on the premises is very large, so bring your trailers! Guests are welcome to use outdoor gas fire pit, or wood fire pit of their choice. Landscaping includes beautiful waterfalls, and a lots of peace and quiet.
What guests are saying:“We went for a cousins retreat and had a blast. The first night we just hung out with Amy and we tried to learn how to dance to The Git Up song. We laughed so much. Then next morning her husband Derrick, made us popovers. OMG they were amazing! Derrick also gave us tips on where to go to shop. We ended up in New London and found Finley Florence Bridal and my cousin said "Yes to the Dress" That was not planned but glad I could be there . I communicated frequently with Amy. I told her I would bring steaks for dinner Saturday night and her husband was kind enough to grill them to perfection. That evening they retreated to their room while we enjoyed a few hands of cards. Overall it was a fun time. Amy really made us feel at home.”
