Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Junaluska

We were absolutely blown away by this space! The space felt cozy, but not cluttered and was very fresh/clean from the bathroom to the linens. This is the perfect spot for a couples getaway - the lake and mountain views can be seen from all angles of the indoor space. It's a very short walk to the trail around the lake and very close to a lot of cute restaurants and coffee shops. Our host, Brian, seems to have thought of everything - the kitchen was fully stocked and he even provided firewood for the firepit, dry cushions inside for the outdoor seating, and an extra towel with a nice note to feel free to use it to wipe down outside furniture since it had rained the night before. Brian also reached out during our 2-night stay just to make sure we had everything we needed and to ensure we were aware he's available to answer any questions. This was such a wonderful trip and we will definitely be back to Brian's space!

Fantastic place for a large group. We thoroughly involved “grandmas house”. View of the lake was great on the massive front porch. We even set up a projector screen and did some outdoor cooking! Close to Maggie valley where we played golf, waynesville for fun activities and even not bad for harrahs Cherokee casino.

The house was perfect for a larger group, plenty of space if you needed to be alone. Gorgeous view of the lake and very convenient to the highways. The bathrooms, kitchen and open floor areas were clean but perimeter of the rooms and under the furniture needed to be swiffered. Vacasa offered to come in and do that but I declined as we were halfway through our stay. We were there over Christmas and I was cooking for the crowd so I would have liked some decent serving bowls (not plastic) and do bring your own knives if you plan to cook. I would definitely stay there again.

This was one of the best Airbnbs that we have stayed at in the recent years. Kathleen was an excellent host and we had an excellent time! When the area was impacted by the recent hurricane, Kathleen did a great job informing us of the status of the house and area and how things were looking. The house was spotless and had lots of little touches to help make it special (like the cute little welcome gift bag and treats for the dogs). The area on the lake was beautiful and we spend some great time sitting out with the dogs in the Adirondack chairs, enjoying the view. Kathleen was very accommodating and supported us with a last-minute change of plans. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to our friends and will be looking forward to returning some day in the future!

Stop right here, this is the place! If you want something that’s not in town but only 15 minutes away this is it. The house was very clean and neat. Also it has everything you needed such as soap, coffee/tea bar, and stuff for the fire pit. The pound with the doc and the views were absolutely stunning. The host, Debbie, was the absolute best in everything especially communication and super friendly! We were very appreciative of Debbie and all she did for us when we were staying here! Definitely the place to stay! 5 STAR!

We loved this place! We were in town for a wedding and this was perfect for the bridal party. Super close to where we needed to be and the house was very cute. I’d recommend staying here! The beds were super comfortable and the views were amazing.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Brian’s on Lake Junaluska. Family of 7 and there was plenty of room for the kids . I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes etc for cooking. Cozy and felt just like home . Thanks again .

At first I thought that it was going to be too far away from everything but it was a perfect location. Steve was very prompt in responding to any needs we had while we were there. It was the perfect place for our New Year's getaway. I will most definitely stay again. Thank you for everything Steve.

We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved it. The property is nestled in the heart of nature, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The host was incredibly friendly, flexible, and very responsive throughout our visit. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub, which made the experience even more special. The location is also convenient, just about a 30-minute drive from most parts of downtown Asheville. This was truly a five-star experience and we would love to come back.

Beautiful spot right on the lake. Great community but still felt private. Could be updated a little bit, and furniture isn’t too comfortable, but spent most time outside near the lake anyway. Great hosts, will book again!

I had an excellent experience at this Airbnb. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and very cozy. The host was very kind and always available for any questions. I felt right at home. I would definitely stay here again!

Kevin and Linda are wonderful hosts - responsive, friendly and warm. Their dogs are also lovely (especially Ruth Ann!). The land is beautiful and the house itself is an amazing gem! It feels very comfortable - the kitchen is well appointed, the bedrooms a nice size, and you don’t want to skip the soaking tub and the shower! Kevin’s beautiful woodwork is prevalent everywhere- be sure to take a close look at all the amazing bowls that are on display. This was our second time staying here, and we hope to make this place a part of our yearly vacation plans!

These units were great for our stay as a group for a conference at Lake J. We needed a place that felt home after long days and where we could relax, watch a beautiful sunset, and feel the mountains refresh us for the next day. Our hosts were spectacular!

This gorgeous old home was so perfect for our family Christmas/New Year's getaway! We all fit so comfortably in the space, were in love with the views, and had a wonderful time exploring! There was tons to do in the nearby town, but it was also great to relax back at the home and on the amazing front porch. We would definitely recommend this lakehouse and would love to book it again in the future!
