The interior is primarily log & rustic with plenty of open living area to accommodate multi family gathering. There are 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and 15 acres on the water with 600 ft of shoreline. Plenty of yard space for games and campfires. Cross country ski, snowshoe & snowmobiling paradise in winter!
“We rented Ellen’s Cabin for an extended family New Years for 3 nights. The 13 of us were very comfortable - the 6 kids took the basement and enjoyed many games of pool and hide and seek. The 7 adults took the upper floor. We liked the separate dining area and were all able to eat together. The nearly commercial kitchen was nice to use and the griddle made large quantities of French Toast a snap. Many of us took a turn at the grand piano, there were plenty of good reading spots and most of us could watch a movie together on the large sectional. This cabin overall felt very much like we were using someone’s extended family cabin in that it felt lived in and beds were tucked in any available space (under stairs/behind a curtain, etc). Was totally fine for our purposes, but groups looking for a lot of individual privacy should take note. The kids had fun skiing around the property and sledding in town. The drive to Minocqua Winter Park and Granite Peak was fairly quick (45 min) which is what we were also after. Thanks, Ellen!”
A cozy 3 bedroom cabin on Lake Alice. The place has patio, firepit, grill, picnic table, 3 kayaks and paddle boat. It is also equipped with TV, DVD player, microwave oven, coffee maker , gas stove and refrigerator for your convenience. The cabin is in front of Lake Alice which is 1,438 acres. The Lake has 5 public boat landings and great for fishing. Northern Pike ,Walleye, Perch, Crappie and Bluegill are among the common fish in the lake. Come on out and enjoy a private getaway on the lake!
“They had wonderful amenities and thought of all our needs which was very nice. We felt very taken care of throughout. Lovely outdoor area with a firepit, gas fire and a gas grill and very comfortable outdoor furniture. We spent hours out there. This isn't the place to bring a private boat - they provided a paddle boat and three kayaks which were lovely and convenient and probably best for a cove that had a lot of branches or logs under the water that might have been not great for a boat with a motor. Going out on the lake in the provided boats was divine. So quiet and peaceful on the lake and off. The cabin is super cozy and has all sorts of nice touches. Beautiful kitchen table and comfy chairs in the living room with the view of the lake. The three bedrooms were also cozy and great for us, but note that the beds are all full size, so a little small for us to put two people in. They provided perfectly fine bedding but if you like bigger or thicker blankets it's probably best to bring some of your own. We did fishing off the boats and dock and did catch some Northern Pike right by the house which was a delight. Very quiet, but convenient to nearby town, stores and restaurants. Overall a wonderful getaway and we hope to return!”
Beautifully decorated, cozy cabin on the Mohawksin River overlooking the lake. Large game room with bar area. Enjoy Tomahawk with great fishing, snowmobiling and the relaxing lake life! Sleeps 8-10
“Our family of four wanted a quiet place to get away during coronavirus. This was our first time using Airbnb. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home is incredible - tucked away on a lake, with lots to do indoors and outdoors. Given the time of year we visited, we were mostly indoors (save for the nice hot tub overlooking the lake and walks/runs in the area). It is beautiful - totally updated, cozy, and sparkling clean. Amy provides a lot of board games and puzzles, Golden Tee (which was a hit with our teenage boys), a large bar, fireplace, smart TVs throughout, good Wi-Fi, etc. We had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing, week together. Amy was very responsive when we had questions, and even checked to make sure someone had stopped by mid-week to clean the hot tub and check chemical levels (he had). We will definitely be back - probably next time with another family, since there is a plenty of comfortable sleeping space and common area. We give this home our highest endorsement!”
