Beautiful stay in a clean, cozy cottage in a quiet village with great restaurant. The garden and view were glorious, the host very helpful. Only the parking situation was a bit difficult. We will be happy to come back, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Mattia and Elisabetta’s little house, located in this charming, traditional village. The location is perfect for hikes with lake views, but also for a city getaway to Lugano. We loved going on excursions with our dog to see the many nearby waterfalls, and coming back at the end of the day as the villagers gathered in a friendly atmosphere (alongside the many cats!). The drive up will put your driving skills to the test, but don’t worry you quickly get used to it. The house is perfect—comfortable, safe, and very clean. Mattia checked in with us regularly to see how our stay was going and to share recommendations. A perfect stay in the kind of Italy you dream of and love!

Our vacation was just perfect. The house is made with a lot of love to detail. It has everything you need. Ursula is a loving, accommodating landlady. We will definitely come back again.

Our stay at the little house was great! The views from the balcony were unbelievable, area was quiet, peaceful and private. Kathi the host was a great help, giving recommendations for places and things to do. The entire place was clean, cosy and homely! Only little negative was that we heard noise from the rooms above later on in the evening when we were trying to sleep. However this can’t be helped.

We had a lovely stay at this lovely house. Everything was perfect and the surroundings were beautiful. Enrico was very available and very kind. He even drove us back to the station while we were going to miss our train. We would highly recommend this Airbnb and would not hesitate to come back if we have a chance!

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

We loved it very much! We would recommend and return to the place. Extremely clean! Beautiful and quiet view and we would like a day to rest just there. Not 100% accessible for us but we managed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Oliver's apartment is highly recommended! We felt very comfortable😊. Location The location is great! Skiing: the bus stops at the front door and takes 1 minute to the cable cars in Flims. In the afternoon you can still sunbathe on the balcony. 🌞 Facilities Especially the kitchen is really well furnished. No cheap materials have been used. Top appliances, great finishes and comfortable furniture in the apartment. You can see small signs of wear every now and then, but totally ok and so it's much more sustainable💯. The children's room was smaller than expected, but still totally cosy. Additional 🧖🏼‍♀️ The swimming pool and sauna are right in the annex. The use is - once you understand it (everything is explained and the residents of Casa Caglims are super nice and helpful) - pleasant and soothing. You'll also have the sauna to yourself. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We spent 3 days on New Year's Eve 2025. Three families with kids. We had a great time. Lara welcomed us warmly at check-in and gave us all the directions to better manage the house, including a stove, jacuzzi and Finnish tub. Clean and complete environments. Super equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spotless and comfortable rooms. Various children's games and books for moments of relaxation; availability of Sky, Netflix and Disney+. Wood and barbecue available. Priceless view of Lake Como from one side and the mountain on the other side. Great location: quite isolated to be quiet and not to bother anyone but still 5 minutes from the center of the village; less than 10 minutes away we found a very well-stocked shopping center. Really great and recommended experience, to try again in summer with the possibility of also using the outdoor pool. GREAT

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The apartment is clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view of the lake that made our mornings extra special. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions that made everything easy. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable outdoor seating area, which allowed us to enjoy the stunning scenery. Alessandra's place is a great space very close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the main part of Varenna. Alessandra was a wonderful host and communicated in a very friendly and responsive way. Would highly recommend this place if you want to be in the central area of Lake Como. We loved our stay here.

Apartment was very good,very clean and warm like at home. The ownes very friendly,they give as something from the farm for free and they respond you for everything. I have it a bad luck because was raining every day but still the place was beautiful. I recommend it.

We felt very comfortable in the villa. Were there with 7 adults and 3 children, 1 dog. The four bedrooms incl. Bathrooms were great and could also be used as a retreat. The pool was heated and very large. The most beautiful is the living room with a long table - there was space for everyone and a very nice kitchen in which several people could work at the same time. The basement was great to be used as a playroom for the kids. The sauna was also great for warming up after bathing. The only thing that wasn't perfect was check-in. There they did not communicate with us that we had to pick up the key in another location (although not to drive far). But this was also just a tiny little thing that could have been better communicated. Otherwise, all questions were always answered quickly and kindly. Thanks for a great stay.

We spent a week, beginning of January, in the cottage and it was very comfortable despite the negative outside temperatures. The multiple heat points (pellet stove, open fire and radiator) allowed us to be perfectly comfortable and we always had enough wood and pellets, available. Our host was lovely and caring. The cottage was very clean as well as the sheets and towels available ☺️ The cottage is located in a beautiful place, very quiet and with amazing views of the mountains. The area is very charming, lots of hikes possible and restaurants to try. I also recommend a visit to the Teglio tourist office, where we were very well received and advised. A perfect vacation! No complaints, 😌 a big thank you!

We were passing through for a stopover in the apartment. The check in was super uncomplicated, communication always easy. The apartment is highly recommended. Kitchen overall very well equipped, but a smart knife was missing. Otherwise, everything worked out. Pizzerias for dinner were enough within a few kilometers. For "thick" cars, the driveway into the yard may be a bit narrow.

We very much liked the house and its surroundings. Perfect for those looking to discover the area of Lago di Como. Very close to Varenna and with an amazing view of the mountains. A place to come back to!

Maya's house is rustic, very quiet and well-equipped. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped, large shower with plenty of water pressure. The beds are large and comfortable. The house sits on the edge of a mountain village and - which is especially pleasant in nice weather - lots of sunlight throughout the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location, 10 minutes from the center of Menaggio and the pier to take the boat to Bellagio and Vernazza. Only downside: the mattress of one of the large beds to change, it sags on one side.

We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic Airbnb in the mountains near Lake Lugano. The small Italian village exudes tranquility, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surrounding nature with its mountains is breathtaking, and there are numerous opportunities for hikes and walks. The Airbnb itself is immaculately clean and cozy – a perfect place to get away from it all. If you are looking for peace, nature and Italian village idyll, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!
