Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Lake Yamanaka

Haruo’s place is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with easy access to highways and attractions nearby Yamanashi! The traditional Japanese house with beautiful backyard (with views of the mt Fuji when weather allows) is all you need for a great getaway! Haruo is very friendly and greeted us on arrival and gave us nearby recommendations for places to see and eat! We would definitely be back whenever we visit yamanashi again!

This property was everything described and more. Check-in was seamless, the home was spotless, and the beds and linens were exceptionally comfortable. The sauna and outdoor tub were a true highlight, and the indoor bath felt like a serene retreat in a private bamboo forest. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, and all appliances worked perfectly. The view—clouds rolling over the mountains into Lake Ashi with Mount Fuji in the background—was absolutely stunning. We also found a nearby stairway leading directly down to the town center. Enjoying morning coffee and pastries by the lake was a peaceful way to start each day. Though the town is small, the restaurants were excellent, and the local shops had just what we needed for thoughtful souvenirs. 10/10 would stay here again. Hakone, and this property made our stay in Japan exquisite.

This stay is absolutely perfect. A perfect, beautiful home that’s a literal skip away from the Mt Fuji Welcome Area. The home was perfect and as described and our host was amazing at what he does. He came and picked us up from Fujikawa station and then drove us back when it was time to leave. Please let him come get you if he offers, you’ll need it! He then provided us a tour of the home, perfectly explained all amenities and how to properly use them. Please respect the home, it is very old and he worked very hard on it. We will be booking this home every time we visit Mt. Fuji in the future!

Amazing!!! 🤩 this was the best and most beautiful house we’ve stayed at during our stay in Japan! The house seemed newly renovated and rooms were spacious and with plenty of beds for all of us to sleep comfortably. The view from the terrace was STUNNING!!, made for great pics of Mt Fuji!!

I stayed with my family of four. Everyone appreciated the great location as pictured. It was a little unfortunate because of the heavy rain in the middle of the day, but I was able to enjoy it even after deducting it. The owner always took care of me and I was relieved to have a kind response. It was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

This property is in a quiet neighbourhood in the middle of 2 JR stations. Lots of places around to eat including restaurants, convenience stores & markets. We left luggage under stairs & took carry on sized up to rooms. Host was great, allowed early check in, provided great instructions for use of facilities, rubbish disposal, etc

Such a great house with an amazing view of Mount Fuji. We loved all the amenities including the sauna, jacuzzi, soft drink machine, ice machine, and indoor range hood for cooking meats and hotpot. Bathroom was spacious and the 3 bedrooms were all very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I live nearby.My son and his wife came with a baby. On the day of fireworks, accommodation costs for nearby ryokans are soaring, but this time, it was a weekday price even on holidays, and it felt like a great deal. Originally, when I booked by mistake for a month, they responded by rescheduling, and they were willing to handle forgotten items, and communication was very smooth.Thank you very much.

I used it for the second time. There are kitchens, facilities, silverware, and hot springs, and there are foot baths, and there is also karaoke, which I think is really great.

This was a great stay in a very interesting building. The place was clean and tidy and we loved the loft sleeping area and the slide and toys for kids. The only thing that wasn't clear was the outlook and how there are other buildings quite close to the house, but overall this wasn't too much of a negative. Overall, this place was great and we would stay here again.

I used it as a training camp for a university student's cultural club for 11 people.Overall, it was a very nice place and I am very satisfied!　It was a fun training camp.

The firepower of the BBQ stove is a little weak, but otherwise it was perfect!

Beautiful house, very quaint and lovely garden, with wonderful amenities, located in a quiet and charming town. We were a group of 8 girls. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with good quality utensils, electric kettle, etc. And small things like having tissue boxes in the bathrooms, providing Aesop toiletries. And the futons were very thick and good quality! Definitely recommended for bigger groups!

The room was also very clean and the furniture was very tasteful! The sauna was also great!✨✨ I'm going again!

I also stayed in Hakone because the accommodation in Izu was good. This hot spring was white and cloudy, and we could take a bath for 24 hours, so we enjoyed the sauna and open-air bath many times, and relaxed in a warm space unique to the cabin, and healed our mind and body. The towels were also fluffy and clean, very responsive, and I was happy to feel the attention to detail. There were various equipment, very stylish, and there were popular appliances such as Balmuda, and we had a pleasant time during our stay. It was a nice place to visit again.Thank you very much.

Beautiful stay overlooking Mount Fuji. The accommodation was great for four adults. We felt close to nature with the occasional deer but a short drive to supermarkets, restaurants. We recommend booking a few days as we saw Mount Fuji in all her glory on one out of three days. We recommend a cycle ride around the lake too.

I stayed for one night, two days, for six people. I called to change the check-in time, which was very smooth. We also enjoyed the BBQ and sauna, and it was a good trip. Thank you very much.

We wanted a quiet night of peace in the midst of a packed trip and Yume's gorgeous Hakone home fully delivered! We were in love based on the listing, and our actual experience did not disappoint. Yume's place was exactly as advertised. Everything was comfortable and we were provided with many resources to prepare us for arrival and our stay. The location is unbeatable; quiet, scenic, and spacious. We were even graced with a stunning view of Mount Fuji from the living room window. The private hot spring bath was amazing-very relaxing and a lovely, unique experience. We only got one night here, but our experience left us dreaming of a longer stay.

lovely location but hard to get to and leaving especially for a large family. There are no taxi services readily available and calling for one is difficult as there is no English translation. We all loved the onsen. Disappointed with the room with the Tatami mats. They were too thin and we couldn't get extra mats until the day we left.
