Monthly Rentals in Lancieux

Very nice little villa, full of charm and period woodwork, almost on the front line of the very beautiful beach of Lancieux, with sea views. There is also a garden. Everything is functional and impeccable. The host is also very welcoming and very friendly.

I would definitely return here for a future stay. The view is amazing; so restorative. The space is pleasant and functional. The location is convenient to many explorations, but quiet and private. There was a minor AirBnb adventure, in that it was unexpected that there were no linens on the bed, and no towels in the bathroom. The listing had said “linens to be provided“. I learned that sentence is meant to be read as “linens to be provided BY THE GUEST.” The host was gracious in providing local shopping recommendations to get what linens I needed, and even more gracious in offering me a discount for him not having made sure I understood “no linens”before I checked in. The door lock was also a little tricky for this American, but the host was able to message me instructions that made a difference (turn the door handle all the way up to enable locking with the key). Overall, a comfortable, beautiful, happy stay!

The place was very nice, clean and cozy. Sophie and her husband Patrick were always available, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we needed a doctor several times while on vacation. Both helped us find doctors. Warning: spontaneously finding a dentist is practically impossible! A big plus: a pharmacist in Lancieux speaks German and is super helpful! We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to these great landlords and the cozy cottage near the beach...
