Vacation rentals with a patio in Lapland

We had a great time at Eija's place. It's as nice as the pictures suggest and a good starting place for exploring northern Finland. As a general tip, I'd recommend traveling by car, then you can easily reach several national parks and other sights in the area, as well as Rovaniemi. The area is calm, the frozen lake and snowy scenery make for a serene retreat. Eija was always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

It was a great place just on the outskirts of the main strip with an amazing view. Nice and quiet, just what we needed. The sauna was amazing and we used it everyday!

Great apartment, wonderful location. Everything you need within walking distance. Really cozy. The only complaint is the high cleaning fee that must be paid. Especially because you are also asked to remove the bedding. We did it, but in our opinion, the fees would already be inside, not having to do it. But all in all, we felt very comfortable. So would still come again! :)

“Wonderful stay in Maula” We had a fantastic stay at this cozy Airbnb! The place was just as described – modern, clean and very well equipped. We particularly liked the breathtaking view of the Finnish countryside and the tranquility of the surroundings. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great tips for things to do in the area and made us feel comfortable at all times. We want to highlight the sauna, which was a real highlight – ideal for relaxing after an active day. The location was also excellent. We were lucky enough to be able to see the aurora lights several times. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again anytime!

We felt very comfortable. Everything was super clean and tidy. The check-in also worked out well and Alisa gave us super many helpful tips, for example about the place or possible activities. The apartment was also very well equipped! For example, there were spices or noodles, or sledges to use.

The accommodation is beautiful, clean, very well located, what a pleasure to have the Jacuzzi and sauna after a good day of activities. You have ski rental and a chairlift just a short walk from the accommodation, it's great. I recommend it and hope to return.

Very nice apartment, great location in the center of Rovaniemi. The sauna is a real plus in this cold country. The hosts are very nice and responsive in communication. The apartment is located in a very quiet area, well insulated from noise. The bedding is good. The apartment is in impeccable condition. We have very good memories of our stay. Amazing stay - Sini is an amazing artist and has tastefully decorated the whole place. Gives such a festive vibe as soon ss you enter. It feels cosy - and you just want to chill at the place. Bathroom is clean, and well stocked. Kitchen is well stocked as well - loved the easy to make - hot chocolates at home everyday. Enough space to sleep - with good beddings. All in all great stay

We recently stayed in Tero’s amazing house and I can honestly say, it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely wooden beams. The ambiance is warm and cosy and it feels like a home away from home! The amenities are top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area and spotless bedding, and even a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day out in the snow. The location is great too! Nestled in a wooded area, it is just a short 10 min walk to Santa Clause Village, shops and restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rovaniemi. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Tero for your amazing hospitality!

The house was really friendly with a good overall atmosphere. It was perfect for these 4 nights with some friends. The view is beautiful from the house, the sauna is pretty authentic, and we really enjoyed laying in the fresh snow afterwards.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was not only sparkling clean, but also furnished with a lot of love for detail – you felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was exactly as described if not better. The host was extremely warm, helpful, and always available if any questions came up. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to switch off and enjoy. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!

I would like to say a huge thank you to MaRi for such a wonderful home and hospitality. The house is located a 45-minute walk from the city center. By bus, it takes only 5 minutes, and the ticket costs €9. The house itself is very cozy. Mari, as a host, is very responsive and welcoming. She replied to messages within minutes and was very understanding. If any help was needed, she was always there to assist. The house is very warm, the sauna is amazing, and everything is exceptionally clean and cozy. Thank you so much! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and acquaintances. A fantastic, fully equipped property in a magical forest location. The kitchen and all the utensils contained in it offer the possibility of a fully independent self-catering, the bedroom as well as the beds are cozy, the indoor sauna provides limitless relaxation and washing machine as well as dryers allow textile care if you return home after challenging hikes or sports activities. Päivi is also a host as a guest could ask for: infinitely lovable and friendly, always good to reach and charming in communication. We therefore lacked nothing during our stay and we would be happy to be Päivi's guests again at any time and recommend Päivi's cottage without reservation. Excellent stay near Kilpisjärvi, the accommodation was great for 6 people. We would have stayed longer with pleasure!

Convenient accommodation to the supermarket and restaurants, two minutes from the entrance of the cross-country slopes, quiet area. Very clean when we arrive, it has everything you need for a great stay! Johanna was very friendly in her responses and quick to support! Highly recommended for those of us who have done a week of cross-country skiing on these wonderful slopes!

Great place and location. I was in this home for a month and it felt like home.

Cozy compact accommodation and a great big terrace with great views of the outdoor barns (you had to buy firewood yourself). You could come here again.

Beautiful house with two enormous living areas, and 3 bedrooms ... located in a residential neighborhood with a supermarket nearby, and bus to town (30 min walk). Many of the tourist activities in Rovaniemi also offer pick-up and drop-off. The accomodation has everything... big TV, fireplace, sauna - very comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. All new and very clean... and well heated. Hannu is a very considerate host, responds rapidly with clear info and instructions. Would love to stay there again ... and longer !!

We spent a few nights at Tuomas's listing at Saariselkä and had a wonderful time there. The cabin is cosy and has everything necessary for an enjoyable time there. We enjoyed the fireplace and sauna immensely. It is some way off the centre of Saariselkä, but it is very much walkable, as we did many times. The cabin is also close to cross-country ski tracks and a lovely Mettäbaari forest bar along that track that serves pancakes and coffee. The hosts were very responsive, and we received answers very quickly when we needed advice.
