We are a family of 4 (kids aged 7 & 4) and we had the most wonderful week at Le Nid! Pauline & Rod are fantastic hosts and we instantly felt right at home. The gite is a great size, full of French charm and just so homely - perfect for us. The outside space is an absolute delight and the kids adored following the chickens around and meeting the geese. Penny the Cat was a definite favourite, giving us all cuddles at one point. The large pool was another family favourite and the kids loved playing in it and we loved lazing in it. Any place with water (the pool and stream) is safely secured with a lockable fence area which was a huge bonus for us and meant the kids could wander and explore on their own. The playground area is just brilliant as well as the different outside games available. There are some fantastic walks nearby which was great for all the family. This really is a magical place and somewhere we hope to return to.
