The Byre is in an ideal place to explore County Durham, perfect for short breaks or longer stays. The farm sits in an elevated position boasting views across the Park land of one of England’s most historic Bishops’ Palaces, Auckland Castle. There are beautiful walks straight from your door, as well as easy access to the A1 to explore further afield.

The Regent's Chambers

The Regent's Chambers is a marvellous and comfortable place to stay, with super king beds, Netflix & Amazon Video, board games, self check-in and breakfast ingredients (except for milk!). There's a garden for relaxing in during nice weather (it happens!) and a real home-from-home feeling. There's free parking just outside the flat and it's a five minute walk into town (explore the castle and new gallery spaces), ten min to the station and ten min to Kynren. Durham is just a half hour away.
