“From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the amazing architecture of this beautiful house! There were so many things we liked about this place, it was completely stunning inside and out! The open planned kitchen/ dinning & lounge has a north facing aspect with plenty of windows which let in so much natural light and sunshine to keep the house warm. It was so nice to sit at the table looking out over the farmland at the rear with a cool breeze coming through the sliding doors. The fit out is top notch with Miele appliances and amazing gold trim on the tap ware. (even gold cutlery) The bathrooms were also very stylish with dark grey tiles and a massive shower head with a timber floor which I thought was a nice touch. The other thing that we loved was how quiet it was which allowed us to have great sleeps in the super comfortable beds. . This has been the most beautiful Airbnb experience! Thanks so much Reece & Steph, we will definitely be back!”
Set at the rear side of the house in a garden of mature trees on the southern edge of Leongatha in a quiet street opposite farmland , with a wetlands/park nearby is this maisonette style accomodation . The room is light and comfortable, recently renovated , cool in summer and cosy in winter . There are fruit and home made biscuits on arrival , tea&coffee making facilities and microwave and a 'continental' breakfast ( sourdough bread , fruit , cereals , milk , butter , yoghurt) is supplied .
“We checked into Anne's place after a busy few days in Melbourne and a long drive. Immediately impressed with how neat and clean everything was. There was freshly baked bread, home-made jam and the most amazing cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. The apartment is small, but it has everything you could need for a comforable stay with lots of thoughful touches. The bed was the most comforatable bed I have ever slept in! I slept so well while staying at Anne's place. The garden is gorgeous, I enjoyed my morning cuppa watching the birds. I highly recommend Anne's place to anyone looking for a little slice of heaven in Leongatha :)”
Following on from the popularity of Eagles Rest, we now offer "Pelican Rest", a brand new, independent villa with fabulous facilities, which sits on top of the hill offering panoramic views of Eagles Nest and Anderson Inlet. Situated 3km from Inverloch it offers guests the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and soak up the ocean and countryside views, and watch the sunset over Eagles Nest. Walk along the beach or take a trip to Wilson's Prom, the choice is yours.
“The apartment is stylishly fitted out with a great kitchen, comfy sofa and cosy wood burning heater. The bathroom is so luxurious (love the heated towel rail) and the king bed extremely comfortable. There are some lovely homely touches such as cold milk, bacon, muffins and eggs fresh from the chickens! But the best thing of all is the location - stunning views in every direction! We had a lovely weekend and hope to visit again.”
