Phil was a great host and responded quickly to our texts. He had bread and fresh eggs waiting for us. We enjoyed walking the premises, lots to see. I especially like woken up by a rooster. It’s a very peaceful and quaint home. Check-in was easy.

Great host and location for a quick family stay. We really enjoyed the sheep and our interactions with bandit. House was great for us.

We had a fantastic stay with Leanne!! It was the perfect place for us. The house is very cozy, cute and very clean. The house is in a great location, it's close to Wilderness State Park and the Headlands International Dark Sky Park and both are fantastic places to visit while in the area. We went down to "Clyde's Place" for an early dinner, the food was great and so were the people and the atmosphere. We can't wait to stay here again the next time we're in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. Our hosts made us feel very welcome with a nice note, home-baked walnut bread, eggs, cooking ingredients, games, extra blankets, shoveling clear a parking spot right in front of the AirBnB amid lots of snow, and so much else. John also very kindly messaged after we had checked out about a bag we’d accidentally left behind, and made it very easy to stop by and pick it up. Bed and couch/futon are very comfortable for sleeping. The location is incredibly peaceful while still close by to many local activities like hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, visiting the Headlands International Dark Sky Park, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinac Island, the Upper Peninsula, and so much else. Would highly recommend this stay. Thank you so very much to our hosts for a beautiful weekend!
