‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. Glan Rhyd -Tranquil Country Cottage

Glan Rhyd is a 200 year-old country cottage idyll, centrally situated with easy access to the whole of Anglesey. Secluded within its own tree-lined wildflower meadow alongside the River Alaw, it offers peace and tranquility second to none. The cottage is semi-detached with its own entrance, parking & facilities including modern kitchen, en suite bathroom, shower & Sky TV. The owner lives next door, and the resident (wild) owls live at the bottom of the meadow! Pets unfortunately not allowed.

The Market town of Llangefni is a 10minute drive, for all the local amenities.

The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. One bedroom on the ground floor, the second bedroom being accessed by its own staircase. ( not from the ladder in living area) Cloakroom, outside sitting/dining area and full use of all the grounds.
