The Studio

The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

With under-floor heating, a Sauna and a full cinema system with screen and a stunning audio system from Monitor Audio. Rural location in a small hamlet surrounded by rolling landscapes. Lake Vyrnwy is 5 miles away and offers beautiful walking, biking and access to the RSPB conservation areas. The property is finished to a high specification and has a separate garden with stunning views from the patio. Guests have their own access into the downstairs seating and dining area which leads to the well equipped kitchenette and shower room. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and lounge area with beautiful views.

Includes FREE wifi and parking. A post office/general store and 'The Railway Inn' (serves food) are both approximately 300 yards from stay.

The hut is a beautiful, self contained and fully equipped Shepherds Hut with the most amazing 270' mountain views. We are nestled in the mountainside , with a private drive, 1 km from the village surrounded by springs and fields, offering a wonderful sense of space and relaxation. Close by are Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall and Lake Vyrnwy, great for walkers or just chilling. Please don't expect the Ritz. its glamping with a twist. As we are rural so expect a rural location

Plas-yn-Llan is a lovely historic coaching inn with a unique character, in a welcoming village. We have a brilliant butcher, two cafes, a Spar and a corner shop, two pubs, an Indian takeaway and a chippy. The house features three wood-burning stoves, with supplies of timber available in the private courtyard. Hikers and bikers will love exploring Pistyll Rhaeadr and the majestic Berwyn Mountains.
