The vacation home is located in the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, is 200 years old and was formerly the ice house of the manor. It was completely renovated in 2017. The sauna, a canoe, a rowboat, a stand-up paddle as well as a table tennis table and badminton can be used free of charge. Groß Raden has an archaeological open-air museum with holiday programs and two restaurants. Fishing from the jetty or boat is possible. The Baltic Sea, Schwerin as well as Wismar and Rostock are about 45 km away.

One bathroom; only ONE fast induction hotplate, simple cooking, fridge, Wi-Fi. Double bed (160 × 200). Additional table + chairs in the garden. Free bikes. Bus on B207 junction Buchholz. Very fast to the lake, boating. No animals, no smoking. Limited telephony in the house due to clay plaster depending on the provider.

Construction trailer on Schafswiese, directly on the Elbe dike

My accommodation: a construction trailer that was once a garden house that was placed on a mobile frame. The construction trailer was provided with a covered veranda, received a completely new, tasteful interior with lighting, folding beds, retractable table, etc., and now stands on a large sheep meadow, between old fruit trees, beech hedges and currant bushes, directly on the Elbe dyke. On the property: a utility kitchen, a sauna with toilet and shower for the construction trailer.

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

We offer swimming and nature holidays for families, especially during the summer vacation season. But especially in the off-season, this area has its special charms such as the heather blossom or the crane migration. So, if you want to enjoy the scenery and experience the sights, you should book. The living room is comfortably furnished and in the bedroom a 1.80 m wide box-spring bed invites you to sleep in. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedding is available.
