Vacation rentals with a firepit in Lugano District

We loved spending our week-long stay with our two kids and dog at this villa. As soon as the door opens, you arrive at this beautiful and gigantic entrance hall that gives access to all the rooms of the house and attracts you to the outside where the view is just amazing. The indoor space is very large, clean and well kept. The decoration and furniture are old style but of high quality which makes all the charm of this villa. The outdoor area and large pool are well-maintained and offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The contacts I had with Alex and Claudia (hosts) were very nice and their responses were very quick. Their directions are clear and they also inform us about the activities to discover nearby/shops/restaurants which is very useful. Thanks to them for allowing us to create wonderful memories!

House for nature lovers. In the middle of the forest with a large private garden. You have many opportunities to relax around the house. It is simply but conveniently furnished. The individual floors can each be reached via an external staircase. We enjoyed our stay in this oasis of peace.

Leo was a fine host who provided us with great service. The old Ticino house is romantic and the view of the lake from all windows is magnificent. For 8 it is a bit tight, ideal for 6 people. We especially appreciated that you can travel wonderfully by public transport. Ship, bus and train are close by. The small shop nearby offers everything for daily use.

The house is a dream with many terraces, plenty of space and perfect internet ;) The sun shines all day on the terraces and the view over Lake Lugano is fantastic both day and night! Guja is incredibly helpful and extremely attentive to her guests. The hosts have thought of everything when setting up!!

Very nice and cozy place to stay on the lake! Great view. We immediately felt comfortable and spent relaxing days in the Villino. Very lovingly furnished and everything you need is there. Jeannette is very friendly, straightforward and the communication always worked out great. We are very happy!

Bobby’s place is in a unique, gorgeous location with a great view. Our family really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was very well equipped and Bobby clearly made an effort to make us feel welcome.

The accommodation fully corresponded to the online information and appealed to us very much! It was extremely positive that we were able to help ourselves from the drinks/snack bar during our four-day stay, which saved us from having to carry drinks. Although free, we voluntarily rewarded this option monetarily, as it was not a matter of course. Because the weather was very cool and accompanied by sleet during our stay, the air conditioning offered a good way to quickly bring the living area to a pleasant temperature without using the fireplace, which would also have been possible. The large TV and the corner sofa invited us to linger, especially in these unfortunately nasty weather conditions. The numerous kitchen utensils offer more than enough opportunity to cater for yourself. Very practical: The dishwasher. The interactions with Andrea were purposeful, efficient, forward-looking and friendly.

Very nice architectural house from the 60’s in a very nice community, Cademario/Lisone - we had a great stay there. The house was big and had a lot of amenities. The view and surroundings are also great!

For the intended purpose (working), the place was perfect. Dear, uncomplicated hosts, highly recommended!! A little unfortunate that the house is in the shade practically all day from the location (we had 2 weeks of permanent sunshine). In the summer, however, this should be very attractive.

Fabio and Inna are fabulous hosts. Very welcoming and helpful! The apartment is located in a very calm and peaceful area. With two boys between 10 and 14 years old, we really enjoyed the pool and sauna. Thanks to both of you for our amazing stay!

we had a nice long-term vacation and were very satisfied. Maria-Luise is a very lovely person. We had a very nice time. We had everything you need and we can highly recommend this apartment. We were even able to rent raclette dishes and fondue dishes and the apartment was very well heated. All to our satisfaction. Basement for bicycles was also available, only a few minutes to the lake and also to the local bus stop

Regula is the most beautiful hostess in the Italian canton! Very hospitable and friendly. The house has everything for comfort. We and the children are always happy to be here. We are returning for the second time and planning to come again next year!

Martina is very kindly, helpful and responds quickly to questions. We were her first guests and we had a fantastic time. The house is very complete and comfortable with a splendid view on the Lake of Lugano and the city. This house is for people who love comfort and tranquility. We will definitely come back. If you need peace and quiet, it's mega. Very rustic and special. We enjoyed it very much. Maybe not for everyone because it takes some personal responsibility and you should be a natural person who is clever. Fantastic location and hiking opportunities in front of the door. Very good value for money and the contact with the owners was always friendly, courteous and interested.

The place was beautiful and the location completely peaceful and in nature. We were a group of 5 people and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the chalet. We cooked meals there, played boardgames. It was a really nice experience and Eveline was so friendly to correspond with - answering all my questions. The only thing I will say about the place (that shouldn't deter you from booking) is that it is a 30-40 min climb up. So if you are doing the climb with provisions and you have a heavy pack, it can take longer and require quite a good level of fitness. Also, another tip is to try and reach the chalet in the day. We did the climb in the rain, approaching twilight and the chalet was hard to spot (low light). You can opt for a helicopter which is affordable. We plan to come back over summer and use the helicopter for all our heavy stuff!

Very nice, well-kept rustico in a quiet location with great views. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather, but from the house you can take great hikes. Merci to Fabio and Bernadette for the hospitality.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!
