We were long-term guests and greatly enjoyed our stay which was overall very good. Others have mentioned a barking dog and we found that this was not much of a problem really - she's not the type who keeps on yapping - just a "woof" or two when someone comes up onto the veranda. We also noted for the hosts attention and to their surprise that the kitchen seemed to have been pilfered. Although we had been content to make do we are sure that the hosts will attend these deficiencies. This home is in a quiet neighbourhood within a 15 minute walk to a train station and good access to cycling and walking paths along the Lower Plenty and Yarra rivers as well as further afield towards Hurstbridge (which, by the way, is a wonderful ride once you get past the busy section towards Eltham).

The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds . Many towels for a change were provided, which was very pleasant. Good access to public transport. Robyn kindly made early check-in and late check-out possible. We enjoyed our stay.

Staying with Keren and Gwyn was very relaxed and beautiful. They are very kind, helpful and accomodating. The kitchen is well equipped and breakfast food provided according to your needs. The garden in which one sits on the balcony is peaceful, and as I was there for more than 4 weeks I was permitted to use the washing machine and ironing board. It was nice chatting to Keren, when we happened to see each other, but each of us had their privacy too. I had a great time living there and am already considering to book again for next year.

We had a fantastic 1 week stay at Marie’s place. It’s a great house in a great location close to Watsonia railway station and shops. Love the backyard/courtyard, and garage to park your car. Will definitely stay here again the time we’re in Melbourne.

Helen’s place was fantastic! We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to others. Helen knows the needs of guests and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house was spotless, and the amenities were top-notch. Definitely will stay here again.

Money well spent. Beautifully presented apartment good size for a couple. 3 minute walk to small supermarket,fish & chip & pizza shop. 5 minute walk to regular bus route on Dunne st for those with children attending La Trobe university. We continued onto MacLeod train station approx 15min ride then a 30min train ride to city centre. To easy. Highly recommend this accommodation Steve and his family are perfect hosts. There if needed otherwise we never sore each other.

The accomodation was super clean, very comfortable and very private with beautiful vistas from all windows. Thoughtful little touches leaving a torch and umbrella for our use. Would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

We had a great stay at Robert’s place , it was comfortable , Robert was friendly and flexible with our check in , our car was garaged , we could access our accomodation from garage just a short walk and private from main house , railway stations Eaglemont and Heidelberg a 15 min walk at most , then 20 mins into city by train . We will come again .

Every detail has been thoughtfully included to create a stunning, serene retreat….perfect for a group getaway. The amenities are second to none—everything you could possibly need is included…right down to the divine bathroom products. The space was immaculately clean, and the plush, comfortable beds made it feel like we were staying in a five-star hotel. Cameron was an exceptional host, always available and incredibly thoughtful, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. Hope's place was one of the best we have stayed in. Fabulous location with restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Close to train station and larger shopping centres. Hope's apartment had everything we needed and was sparkling clean. An absolute delight to stay in - just wish we could've stayed longer.
