It was a great hospitality from beginning to end. Above all, I would definitely stay here again in a great place to stay and a great place to detox, a kind owner.

Naomi and Nori were amazing hosts, they were very responsive and even picked me up and took me to the station which is about a 12 minute drive each way and can easily cost about $18-$20. Their onsen is beautiful and I really enjoyed being able to use it as I pleased. The area around their home is full of nature and beautiful views, I will say it’s a shame I didn’t have a car because I really couldn’t explore much on foot. There’s one restaurant near the house and that’s about it so it’s important to bring food (you can use the microwave easily). They have a sweet dog named Prince who is very friendly and loving, definitely will miss him. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Aloha from Hawaii!. We had a most incredible experience at Slopeside, with invaluable assistance from the wonderful staff. Lianne and Sam: a sincere thank you for the local knowledge and hospitality. Reo and Aki (55 Powders Rental): the snowboarding equipment was top notch and we put it to good use on the slopes. Reo's online snowboarding videos are also great! Finally, our snowboarding instructor Taki was excellent and patient with both of our kids. They will never forget their first snowboarding trip and will miss their snowman and igloo.

The accomodation is not in the center but thanks to the drive every morning and every night, you can be in the ciry very fast :) It is a nice accomodation for a cheap price, I definitly advise this accomodation!

I was worried about the cold in Karuizawa, but the room was warm even with floor heating.The bath was slow to stretch out my tiredness. It is a few minutes walk to Old Light Ginza Street, and it is a perfect location for sightseeing. The staff were very helpful with responding to questions and lending out the extension cord. Thank you very much.

What a fantastic place to stay. I needed something affordable for a 17 day trip and Noda Hibariya Hostel hit all the marks! Michu is an absolutely fantastic host and so very warm and welcoming! I will be coming here again for sure!

Really nice place ! A cute residential home split into three dormitories and nice common spaces ! Well furnished and good location They are the same owner of hodosando coffee stand so you can have discount on your coffee if you go there ! Thank you very much !
