Outside, our home has a covered wrap a-round porch, rocking chairs, bench swing, and table to relax and take in the mountain air. Inside features a living area with a stone fireplace to relax with friends and family, kitchen, dining, and an additional living area (loft). The property also has paved access by private road.

This idyllic cabin, conveniently located on over 4 wooded acres, is well-appointed despite its cozy 400 sq ft interior size. Featuring a full kitchen, bath, laundry, and bedroom complete with a queen SleepNumber, the cabin is extremely comfortable. Outdoors, enjoy the covered porch, open deck, firepit, grill, and mountain setting. Great location within 40 minutes of many major WNC attractions including Asheville, GSMNP, etc. The property boasts paved access and high-speed fiber optic internet.

Tucked Away in the rolling pastures and outstanding mountain views is a beautiful romantic vacation home with a superb proximity to Waynesville, Maggie Valley & Asheville. The Water Wheel is our place to unplug and detox from the hustle and bustle of life. When we are not here enjoying this space we want to share it with you. Imagine yourself lounging by our fire pit with a local brew or taking in the mountain views from the hot tub then creating an amazing meal. Detox in our cedar sauna after a long hike. Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

Cabin Kisa

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel. Come expecting simplicity and refreshing stay in the wooded landscape of WNC.

Make Mountain Dell your home base and enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer. Located in a rural residential area with a scattering of farms, yet only ten minutes from shopping and restaurants in downtown Waynesville. Close to hundreds of miles of hiking, forty minutes from Asheville or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, there is plenty to do. For those who want to do less, you can just sit in the sunroom or on the deck and watch the horses graze.
