The place is stunning! It sits on a hill with amazing views of palm trees and the ocean. The bungalow is lovely, with all the necessities. I loved the cozy decor, and the terrace is fantastic. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Salvacion surf spot. If you surf, this is a great location, especially from November to February when Salvacion gets the best waves on the island. The village is charming, and the people are very welcoming. There are a few local cafes near the surf spot to enjoy. It’s a 20-minute drive to GL, which was perfect for me. I preferred staying in a quiet, natural setting with a short drive to the busier area. Santa Fe is just 10 minutes away and has several cafes and restaurants. It’s a great option for dinner and is closer than GL. Highly recommended! The host, John, was very helpful. He arranged my airport transfer and made sure check-in went smoothly.

Super chill spot, very quiet en private; it’s a house that stands on his own. Just seconds away from the beach and really living near the locals. I was on my own and so more than enough room for me. I loved the family of dogs that were shy and friendly at the same time. AC works good, even on hot days. Outside kitchen en private garden also pretty cool. Would recommend this for sure!

I had a great stay at this apartment! The place was very clean and the location was excellent — everything I needed was close by. There’s a great coffee shop with super friendly staff right inside the building, which was a huge plus. Having a laundry facility in the building was also really convenient. Across the street, there’s a really good Italian restaurant that I highly recommend. The internet connection was strong and reliable, perfect for working remotely. A couple of things to keep in mind: If you like to sleep in until 10–11 AM, it might be a bit challenging, as it gets quite noisy outside starting around 7 AM — kids running and adults talking loudly. Also, the power would occasionally go out, a couple of times per week, though it usually came back quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!
