“What can be said about a perfect tiny home? The wife and I took a quick trip for our anniversary and this was just what we needed. We had never stayed at a tiny home before and we were so impressed. The bed was super comfortable, the little outdoor area was beautiful and the shower was great. We will definitely look at staying again. The owners were so kind to us for our trip. We loved every minute of it and look forward to staying here again soon.”

“More than you expect at an affordable price. Beautifully appointed cabin with Brazilian cherry flooring, barn door bedroom door and big screen television in this adorable rustic cabin near Lake James.”
A totally secluded cabin nestled up on a mountain. It is VERY RUSTIC. No electricity, water, or bathroom and can only be accessed by an 8 minute uphill walk from parking. Guests are welcome to use the bathroom/shower here on the retreat. It is inside the musical communal house which is down near parking and is shared with other guests (therefore you might have to wait a few minutes to use sometimes).
“There are simply no words to describe the most wonderful week I spent in the cabin atop the hill overlooking the valley. It far exceeded my most hopeful expectations and being surrounded by all the majestic trees literally took my breath away. The cabin itself makes for the perfect getaway, cozy with a natural feel and plenty of space Firewood is abundant in the forest behind the cabin and made for convenient access to keep many fires going long into the night as I watched the star-studded sky. Jared is a friendly, generous, and respectful host, happy to help with anything and provided an extra blanket for the colder nights of my stay. I only wish this piece of paradise was closer to home so I could visit more often, but it's certainly well worth the 10+ hour drive from home and I intend to be back when circumstances allow for the privilege again. This spot is a gem!”
