Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Masham

We spent eleven nights in this lovely house during our trip to the UK. We liked the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great shower. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and a great base for walking. I would definitely recommend this property.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Great clean, spacious family home, felt at ease, very comfortable, enjoyed our stay. Great value for money. Completed Spennymoor parkrun and visited Durham for Rugby.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit my elderly father in law, after a long drive it was a lovely place to stay, clean with everything you could need. The garden is completely dog proof which was important to us and it was great to sit out there in the sunshine. There’s a great walk just at the end of the street for Dogs, the village has a great selection of shops/ bakery/restaurants. We’ll be booking again for our next visit

Great place to stay

The home was warm and cosy, with plenty of space for the 4 of us. A well equipped kitchen let us prep meals, and a spacious lounge + dining room let us relax after a busy day. We wouldnt hesitate to come back next time we visit.

We had a lovely stay at Kate's house. We loved walking into town through the park along the river. The house was clean, stylish and comfortable with outside space. It was also great to have parking and take our dogs so we had a super time at Russell Street.

A lovely home, photos don't show how lovely it is. Plenty of space inside and out. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. Walkable into the town centre.

We had a wonderful stay at the caravan! The place was spotless and really well looked after. Lynn was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond and happy to answer all our questions. It’s perfect for families as there were thoughtful extras like kids’ toys and child-friendly plates that made our stay even easier. We’d definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay here with our Labrador, it is very dog friendly and we felt at home straight away. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and we had everything we needed in the lodge. We would definitely book again.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. If there was a six star rating then I would definitely pick that! Julian’s house is superb, we stayed for 4 nights after the new year as a family and have had the best time. The house is just beautiful in a gorgeous location and very spacious. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs all together and we had more than enough room. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhall farm along with Julian and Jolene who are great and very helpful. Thank you for fab holiday 🥰

We went away for a break with three kids - 8, 3 & 2. They loved the site and the onsite activities. For 3 nights we had plenty to entertain the children with the pool, kids club activities, crazy golf, soft play and park. This caravan though made it much more homely. I would recommend staying at this caravan rather than the site ones every time.

Lovely place to stay was just unsure on the central heating but we switched it to auto and it came on at 6am didn’t really no how to use it shop nearby for all ur essential bits will definitely stay again thanks Carrie x

We cannot thank Simon and Lynne enough for the incredible stay that we had with them at their magical cottage. Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. From the amazing communication, warm welcome, and truly breathtaking accommodation, we immediately felt at home and in relaxation mode. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully curated. The hot tub was immaculately cared for and offered welcome relaxation. The beds were so comfy and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. We simply couldn’t fault it. Thank you so very much for making our stay such a memorable one.

We are first time visitors in Skipton and glad we stayed with Mel and Jason's place. It was near to the place we were meeting with friends so that comes handy with us getting uber to and from the place. We were out much of the day so it's just nice to come home to a cozy place. Mel and Jason were responsive and timely with their reminders. They also offered some bread, eggs and butter which was thoughtful.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Welch Cottage was the perfect holiday home. The property was spacious, exceptionally clean and located off a pretty, leafy lane. The kitchen was a joy for a large family to prepare meals together. Lytham St Anne's was forty minutes away and had everything a young family needed for fun days at the beach and was remarkably free of litter. The Forest of Bowland was peaceful, beautiful and unspoilt. Thank you, we hope to return.

Fantastic place tucked away in a sleepy village only 35 minutes form York. The perfect location for anyone visiting the city. We came away for my wife's birthday and on arrival, we were greeted with a happy birthday banner on the front door and when we entered, there was a birthday card a bottle of proseco waiting for us. A lovely gesture! The Piggery is a beautiful home from home with every amenity thought of, immaculately clean and has one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. After a long day of walking around York, it was great to get back and relax in the Hot Tub. Andy & Sue are great hosts and although we didn't actually meet them, they were very responsive to messages before our arrival and were only next door if we needed anything but we didn't as everything that we could of needed was there. Will definitely stay here again..

Absolutely wonderful place. If you want peace and off grid, this ticks all the boxes. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped and the views are stunning. As a solo female traveller I also felt completely safe. It’s probably not for you if you’re not a confident driver or need to be near amenities, but for me with wonderful walks from the doorstep, it’s just perfect. This was my second visit, there will be a third and even a fourth! Thanks
