The property has a year-round creek running in front of it and it is surrounded by trees where you can hear and see many birds including Woodpeckers, Cardinals, Mocking birds, etc. hence the name "Our Nest". Bigger than tiny and smaller than average, we have just completed the full renovation (Summer of 2022) of this mobile home. Serenity and seclusion awaits you at Busha's Barn. The nicely appointed studio has everything you need to enjoy your visit. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, convection/microwave, two eye burner, coffee pot, toaster. Relax on the couch and watch tv or take a nap in the comfortable queen size bed. If you are working from home there is a desk and of course wfi. Situated on a heavily wooded acre surrounded by birds and wildlife. Take a short hike down the path to Beaver Creek.

Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.

This secluded, peaceful cabin overlooking the mountains and pond is situated on a 50 acre property which can be used for your enjoyment: exploring, 4 wheeling or fishing. Be apart of the Rustic oasis on “The Ridge” HUGE deck overlooking the pond and relax under the wide open night sky!!! Beautiful view! Pets are welcome :) and a $25 pet fee will be charged if you have 2 pets, if you bring 3 pets there will be a $50 pet fee.
