House vacation rentals in Merrimac

We just completed an amazing getaway here at Lisa’s place. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Everything is even better than presented. The kitchen is phenomenal - with every appliance, cook/bake/serveware you can imagine, and a perfect focal place for gatherings. Each room is cozy and homey - and there are so many hidden gems! The bedrooms were elegant yet amazingly comfortable for resting. And the location is super easy to access Madison while offering quiet & peace for morning & evening walks (added bonus if you bring your pup!). Finally and maybe best of all, Lisa is a perfect host!! Immediately responsive, really helpful with questions, and she offered terrific recommendations that we took up & thoroughly enjoyed. We all loved everything about our stay & plan to come back!

First of all, Kurt was very helpful with check-in directions, was very responsive,was very easy to communicate. Second- the place! We liked it because of the photos, but the moment you step in the condo.. even better from the photos! All thanks to Kurt! Will come back.

We had a wonderful stay! Brittany was a great host! Very responsive and welcoming! The kitchen has everything you need to make all of your meals! Lots to do in the basement rec area! Enjoyed watching wildlife on the golf course each morning and evening. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The house is exactly as described. We had a group of 12 in town for a golf weekend and really enjoyed the location, layout, and massive table. Highly recommend!

This house was incredible! There was tons of space, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought 4 children, and the layout of the house was perfect for naptimes. We were a 20 to 30-minute drive from skiing, restaurants, and other outings. We were there during an incredibly cold weekend, but we could imagine how fun it would be to stay there in the warmer months with the pool and outdoor area!

Andrew was accommodating and offered us an early check-in. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a delightful surprise: homemade cookies waiting for us. The space was incredibly comfortable and inviting, providing ample space for all six of us to relax, enjoy a cookout, engage in games, and explore The House on the Rock. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. Andrew’s little snack station was a fantastic idea, even though we only used it to purchase a bag of ice. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning and staying again. It feels like a warm and welcoming home away from home. Thank you once again, Andrew.

Great weekend getaway. Kelly was the greatest host. Kelly was very accomodating for my elderly Dad & I. Beautiful house & great scenery. If you like peace & quiet, Kelly's house is it. Everything felt like I was at home. Returning in August.

We had 7 girls for a wknd and the house was just perfect! Super clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked, comfortable and more than enough space. The location was great, easy to get to anything you want to do in The Dells. We would stay there again.

Katherine was very responsive and flexible with our families needs! She gave a wonderful recommendation for dinner and was incredibly accommodating with very short notice. The neighborhood was great, it was a quiet home and the kids felt great during our stay! We would recommend and will likely reach out if we’re in the area again!

Was in town for the wedding of a graduate school buddy, and Aleen's BNB was a perfect spot from which to relive the old days and good times. Extremely cozy, with beautiful views of Lake Mendota and easy access to nearby favorites including The Bou. Highly recommend.

Joseph was quick to respond when we had any questions about our stay. Joseph was notified we would be traveling with our infant and immediately purchased a high chair to help accommodate for our baby!

We had a great stay. Check in was easy and it was easy to find. The house was clean and nice and peaceful tucked back in the trees. There were plenty of towels int he bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub and our kids liked the swings and ping pong table, and the bunk beds. It was about 42 minutes from Wisconsin Dells which we frequented. There is a state park nearby that we visited too. I will agree with other reviews to bring lots of bug spray as the mosquitos enjoyed the wooded area as much as we did. Overall a great stay!

We loved the no smoking policy. The size of the house and floor plan were perfect for us.

I had an extended stay at Brian's property and all worked very well. The property was very clean and as indicated in the photos. Just be aware that stays do not include use of any of the garages. I had assumed access based on the photos while realizing later that it did not say explicitly that use of the garages is included. This property is very private and is perfect for a summer getaway. Very short drive into town ~2 mins with access to a grocery store, restaurants, Walgreen's, etc. The furniture and interior decorating is very nice. I would stay again if needed.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this cute house. My dog appreciated the large fenced-in yard! The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. I loved the quiet, tree-lined neighborhood which is walking distance to Lake Monona. Will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I visited this rental for the first time recently and fell in love. It was close to our family but decent space to relax and was quite! I would 100% recommend this rental and the owner was SO helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend a better place in the area!

Clean and easy airbnb to rent for a weekend with friends. Would have appreciated more dishwasher detergent, but not a big deal
