Family-friendly vacation rentals in Meuse

This is an incredible house, with a magnificent garden. We were 2 adults and 4 children. The hosts are a lovely couple and they have created a beautiful kitchen garden. There is a ping pong table outside as well as a table football, which the children really enjoyed. And the washing machine was a bonus. We have enjoyed Lac the Madine, aquapark and the tree climbing and ziplining, some small villages and my family. I highly recommend this house and will be happy to stay here again😃

Very nice cottage in an old building made of beautiful stones. Isabelle is a welcoming and friendly host. Quiet space. Great setting for a stay for families or groups of friends.

Diane’s house was a real ‘home from home’. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were a mixed age group taking part in a local hot air balloon festival and it was perfect for all of us. We cooked lots of meals and there were all of the facilities we needed. The area was quiet (perfect), but only a short hop from lots of things to do. Diane was a really helpful and considerate host. The children particularly enjoyed the madeleines left for us, while the adults were grateful for the wine. Thank you Diane. Would highly recommend. 😊

Pierre is great host. He is very friendly and there was always good communication with him, both via the Airbnb chat and at the location itself. He also lives behind the property. The airbnb was very spacious, with a gigantic garden that we were able to use well with a barbecue. We did not read the listing properly and were shocked when it turned out that there was a dry toilet. But this was our own fault. Pierre does advertise this very clearly. However, be warned if you do not read the listing properly but the reviews do! Additional costs of 5 euros per sheet were also a surprise for us. Especially since they practically all had some stains that we were quite disappointed with. The next morning, Pierre got us a new one. Also, he didn't have towels or bath towels, something I'm used to getting to an airbnb. Pierre also provided this upon request. Great stay, can recommend it!

This is the 3rd time we have booked this house with friends and it's always a huge pleasure to get together. The accommodation is very well equipped, for young and old alike, it is very beautiful, its park too. The host is very responsive... In short, we will continue to come as much as we can!

Plenty of space in the house and a separate bathroom for each room so that's very luxurious. The house is a bit boxy due to all doors and corridors, even though there is more than enough space, in addition to the interior is a bit old-fashioned. Also a great barn and fantastic fenced garden that has clearly taken a lot of care. In the garden also a giant traditional wood-fired bread/ pizza oven that you don't just heat up because it will take a lot of time and wood (burn at least 2 hours) but beautifully built The village was taken to graze heavily in the First World War and fully recovered in four years. The owner tells you a lot about it and is very enthusiastic about the history of the region that in the first world war was the center of well-known battle sounds such as the battle of dilution and finally also the peace of dilution. Nearby you will find a memorial monument in each village, many war museums and also impressive war cemeteries.

Ideal cottage for family reunions (we were 6 adults and 7 children from 1 to 15 years old), very well arranged, thanks to Camille for her hosting, the visit to the farm, the advice on walks. Great memories shared during our weekend in Argonne!

We loved enjoying the beautiful sunset, lulled by the gentle birdsong in this natural garden so quiet and peaceful. A true haven of refreshing peace.

We had a pleasant stay at the Gîte de l 'Étang. We recommend it for nature and peaceful weekends. Please note that dogs are not allowed on a walk around the lake. Thanks Alain

Good accommodation conditions and very responsive owner.

A beautiful house, even more beautiful than described. Very spacious, with nice beds and all the amenities you could wish for. There's even a home theater. The location is perfect for many trips. The owner is very friendly and attentive and even stopped by halfway through our stay to clean the pool. Tip: if you have a question before departure, ask it directly to the owner, because from Belvilla I did not receive any response

Beautiful surroundings, the cottage is located next to a beautiful chateaux (castle), it is a refurbished barn, very spacious, warm by underfloor heating downstairs, 3 bathrooms (!) and suitable for the disabled. Very neat and equipped with everything. Perfect for with children through a large trampoline, huge lawn, beautiful forest to walk through on private grounds of the castle. Unfortunately, the pool was still closed, the tennis court was quite outdated but, after some attention, can still be used well. Everything is a little dated but still usable. The area is very deserted, the village is quiet and feels a bit deserted. And also restaurants (10-50 minutes drive) must be called in advance because are not always open!

We had a lovely time at Rolande's place. Rolande is very welcoming and very friendly. The stay has a private entrance (above the garage) and is well furnished. We enjoyed the pool and lovely garden very much. Everything is very well maintained. The stay is located in joinville and is a nice village to visit.
