Lovely little place for a weekend stay in the Peak District. It is in a perfect location for exploring, with many places just a short drive away, as well as some lovely walks in the local area that you can do from the doorstep. The chalet has everything you need for a short stay, including delicious homemade bread and enough cooking equipment to make simple meals. I would highly recommend! (And if you like dogs, Ben the friendly golden retriever is lovely).

Wow, would prefer to keep this a secret! We had a fab stay. Oliver was an excellent host, the house is beautiful, very special, so many lovely features and super homely. Kitchen worked a treat and had everything we needed for a weekend of home cooking for 4 friends on a walking weekend. There was oudles of very hot water for baths. The bedlinen is beautiful and the beds very comfy. The walks were from the doorstep and truly beautiful. Not too hilly, which suited us. We did a 10K on day one and an accidental 23k on day 2! We took in a pint at a country pub, ice creams and picnics. Percy the Peacock was a treat along with the chickens and occasional visit from the friendly dogs. For sure we will be back, can't wait.

Willow Cottage is a cosy little place it is beautifully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is tiny but very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail is outstanding (fluffy towels, quality bed linen, super comfy bed and sofa) and we appreciated all the little extras (milk, teabags, coffee, hot chocolate). Lucy is a very attentive host and replies quickly to messages. I highly recommend Lucy's cottage and would love to stay there again.

I spent a solo weekend at Riverdale View and it was fantastic - a peaceful and restful location with a view you could stare at all day. Amanda provided excellent recommendations for some local walks which really helped me to plan. I will absolutely be returning!
