We really enjoyed our week. The cottage has everything we needed and is in a great location. Linda was very welcoming and gave us some tips for dog friendly beaches. Our little ones (and dog) enjoyed getting close to nature.

The Miner’s Retreat was perfect for the two of us and two dogs for a two week holiday. We loved the location and the space and felt very at home. The garden was perfect for the dogs and the use of the paddock as well was brilliant for the early morning scamper. The wood burner was a real luxury for us as we live in a thatched cottage with a decommissioned chimney and it warmed the early mornings and evenings beautifully. The cabin is very well positioned for exploring Cornwall and we found some great quiet places to while away some hours. The cabin was very well equipped and the shower was fabulous. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and we highly recommend their property for a short or longer break.

Great stay here! Perfect for a wedding at the Green. Comfy place to stay with cosy bed and very clean. Kim was extremely helpful and helped however she could. Kim even kindly gave us a lift to the venue as taxis can be tricky. Thank you!

Lovely stay. Accommodation was as described. Great hosts. Lovely welcome basket and the post office and tea room are to hand for good Cornish food / supplies.
