Every step of the way - John was a a great communicator, making sure we had all the information we needed for our visit and the surrounding area. His cozy get away, is surrounded by beautiful nature, very private and yet only 10 minutes from the town of Annapolis Royal with all the amenities. The open fireplace, with lots of DRY wood and kindling was a bonus as the weather was stormy during our visit. John also checked in with us a few times to make sure we could get in and out of the driveway during the storm. 2 lovely balconies would be perfect in the summer for sitting out and looking into the trees - and which we were able to use this trip for barbequeing in the snow storm:) Very dog friendly as located off the main road and km of trails right out the door for walking off leash or snowshoeing. Would absolutely return at any time of year!

Absolutely beautiful and such a nice spot to get away to for a weekend. Emily was an incredible host. She gave us very detailed directions to finding the place and information to help make our stay enjoyable. She was also quick to respond when we had a question. Their AirBnB home is one of the best and excellent properties I've been to. My family and I travel a lot in Canada and other countries and Stephen Erik's house is just phenomenal. My cousins and I had a great girls weekend! Such a beautiful spot especially being right on the water. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

This was my first girlfriend trip. We arrived at the house and the seven of us were Wowed! Everything you could need was there. Perfect kitchen for meals and the open concept was great for everyone being together. The beds were very comfortable. The whole house is spotless. The hot tub on the upper deck and the view from there is beautiful. Summerville beach was only a couple minutes away. Next trip will include our husbands. The house next door would be great if anyone would want a family reunion getaway.

This stay was outstanding. It’s by far one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had with high quality appliances and furniture. The scenery and close vicinity to nature and excellent restaurants was spectacular. See you next time!

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

Magical location perched right on the lake. Super private. Absolutely spotless. Kitchen very well stocked with all sorts of dishes, bowls, cooking utensils. Surprisingly large bathroom (and so many clean towels and face cloths) Host was super responsive. Wood stove kept the place today warm all weekend. Loved that the deck deck was entirely gated so we could let our dog out. everywhere on We plan to return!

The cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. Tranquility Cove is precisely that, a tranquil spot perched on the edge of the ocean. As a host Bonnie was wonderfully responsive and very gracious. The cottage itself was well appointed with comfortable beds (an essential). Despite the fact that we were there for the coldest and iciest days of February, we were still able to on a series of hikes, so to that end the cottage is perfectly located for people who like to explore the more southernly part of Nova Scotia's gorgeous South Shore. We felt at home and at peace immediately, that sense of comfort permeated our entire stay. I strongly recommend Tranquility Cove as an ideal location for a quiet getaway.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!

Claudia was a wonderful host. She was super helpful and ensured we got the most out of our visit. Dragonfly dreams is private and secluded. She has canoes, kayaks and a screened in porch. The sunrises are amazing and it's very peaceful listening to nature around you. We loved meeting both her and Tashi. She is definitely a warm and kind person. We highly recommend her place.

We stayed here over New Year’s and it was the perfect getaway. Super comfortable, cozy woodstove, and amazing views. We’d definitely return!

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

An amazing and peaceful escape to the woods. The cabin is perfect with a beautiful deck and view. Has just the right amount of comfort while allowing you to enjoy nature. Tina and Graham are fantastic hosts, kind people, and take pride in their perfect cabin in the woods. Our dog was welcome and comfortable with lots of space to explore, they even loaned us their visibility vests and a dog bed! We will definitely be coming back.

This was an amazing place to relax and enjoy the weekend. The wifi worked great the tv was great. Had many of the little things you often forget like spices for cooking and sugar, coffee, lots of large bowls etc. beds took up a lot of the room space but were very welcoming and comfortable. The deck was awesome large and lots of places to sit relax and enjoy the sun. The kayaks were fun and easy to use. The sandy launch was great. Fire pit was fun for our marshmallow roast. Hot tub was hot and enjoyable. Would definitely go another time. Black flies were swarming. Should have bring better bug spray but that was on us. Host was fast to answer questions and helpful with info. The local restaurants listed were closed but we had lots of our own food so we were fine but we went early May so maybe the season for them wasn’t open yet. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Where to start!! Myself, husband, 9 year old son and Golden doodle stayed at Jodi’s home for 2 nights this past weekend. The home is incredible cozy, warm, inviting, as well as incredibly thoughtful. There is everything you need and more. Very pet friendly, lol there were 2 dog beds, toys and more. The fire pit is wonderful and well and the amazing dock on the prestige lake front. Very private. The screened in room is so wonderful, with the lovey table and lights! Fishing is great as well. The inside bedding and layout is perfect as well. Incredibly comfortable and clean! The kitchen,bathroom,and bedrooms and well equipped with anything needed. We hope to speak a full week next summer there with our family! Last but not least…..communication was amazing! We absolutely loved our stay over Easter weekend! Scott was very friendly and easy to connect with! It was a weekend of relaxation and connecting with nature! The hot tub was a great addition. Also the gorgeous wood work!! Also the sunrises from the loft were incredible!! We will definitely be coming back!

What a beautiful location and place. This was our second stay and we highly recommend it for anyone interested. So well equipped and the lake and sunsets are stunning. Could spend forever on that dock. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts….so responsive and helpful. Also great fishing and boating and the dog loved all the room to roam around on the acreage. We were very pleased with our stay at the cottage! It was exactly how it was described, and the lake/view was breathtaking! We stayed for 4 nights with our daughter and we were all sad to be leaving on our last day. The cottage was fully stocked with everything needed, including everything for outside (firewood, boats, beach towels, etc.). Jill was great to deal with - provided great instructions, information about the area, and responsive! Overall, great experience!
