Vacation rentals with lake access in Molega Lake

We had a great 5 day stay with family of 3 generations. We loved the nooks & cranny’s of an old house. The bedrooms were large & spacious. It was only a 5-7 minute drive to 2 beaches, where we spent a lot of time with a 5 & 9 year old. There were lots of interesting shops within a 15 drive. It was quite warm when we were there & when we reached out to Cris, he provided a couple more fans for us. Great stay.

We decided to do a staycation for a birthday with a few friends and we couldn’t have picked a better place! Perfect spot between dropping into the city to do some shopping to a relaxing atmosphere on the lake. We will definitely be recommending to any friends who are travelling to the spa for a getaway! We want to thank Chris and Anna for hosting us and for being very quick to reply to any questions.

5 Stars – A Perfect Retreat! Red Horseshoe Retreat on Horseshoe Lake was exactly what I needed – peaceful, rejuvenating, and beautiful. From the moment we arrived, the views of the lake were stunning, especially while relaxing in the hot tub – absolute bliss! The lake house is cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of games to enjoy during our downtime. Lois and David are wonderful hosts – kind, responsive, and always making sure their guests feel welcome and cared for. This truly felt like a home away from home, and I left feeling refreshed in mind, body, and soul. I can’t wait to return!

We often have stayed at Sherry’s cottage this time of year, and everything was lovely as expected. This was our first trip without snow and we were able to go for a lovely walk at nearby Rissers beach as well as sit on the patio in the afternoon sun and read with a glass of wine. We hope to visit someday to enjoy the river and gardens on the property, the reviews in the book sound amazing.

Our family had a fantastic Christmas at Deanna’s. It looks exactly as advertised, and is just really comfortable. Deanna was very helpful and timely in responding to questions, prior to, and during our stay. She was very flexible and accommodating to meet our timing needs. Awesome location and view. The accommodation is great, well taken care of and great for a family stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Henry’s place was beautiful, private and relaxing. We got out in the canoe on the lake, spent lots of time in the hot tub, cooked up some delicious food on the barbecue, sat around the propane fireplace and more. Would definitely come back.

We had the best girls’ weekend here! The house was big and spacious—plenty of room for all of us to spread out, hang out, and relax. It was spotless when we arrived, which we really appreciated. Everything felt fresh, tidy, and clearly well taken care of. The host was awesome—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We did cold dips in the lake (freezing but fun!), then sat around the outdoor fire with blankets, music, and wine. Honestly, it was the perfect mix of chill and fun. The whole place felt private and peaceful, and we never felt cramped. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Christina's place. It was well equipped and furnished in a quiet setting. We even got to see a fox a few deer. We had a great time and I would highly reccomend Christina's place to anyone visiting Nova Scotia.

We had an incredible stay. We have already started discussing rebooking this every year moving forward now.

The site is very rural but that is what we appreciate. Carol-Ann says: I told Bruce his review was far too stiff and impersonal to accurately reflect our time at Cameron's. After all, this is our second VayKay get-away with them and we are pre-booking for a third one in a few months! His response to me: Absolutely! We were looking for a quiet place near Annapolis Royal yet out-of-town, and we found it. The trips to surrounding towns, restaurants, and tourist sites were easy and there was little traffic. Although not all the rooms in the cabin have been fully renovated yet, Patrick thoughtfully provided comfortable furnishings, and there were many 'homey' touches that we appreciated, like adequate lighting in each room, good quality linens and towels, and flowers on the table. We enjoyed the well-supplied kitchen, great shower, and deck for relaxing, outdoor breakfasts, and views of Milbury Lake from the private beach. Patrick was a responsive host and made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed.

We Had a family reunion “staycation”!! This Was a perfect spot. Open space for the play pen and baby toys! Beautiful view & yard. We brought our own groceries and stayed in. The kitchen was very workable and had all the kitchen tools we could have needed. The wood stove was such a relaxing mood setter. The outdoor hot tub was lovely! (2 ppl) The deck was perfect for enjoying the outdoors with babies! Host had loads of little fine touches. Washer & dryer worked great! Parking was good, right next to the door and no stairs needed. Felt right at home and very comfortable! This is a perfect location of longer stays!

Our stay was wonderful and the location/property is ideal for a relaxing getaway. We didn't get to use the rec room, but made ample use of the hot tub which was very nice to relax in. Quiet space and the screened in portion of the back deck is great for spending some evening time under the stars without the hassle of bugs.

This was the perfect cabin for our little weekend get away. Perfect size- not too big or small. Cabins can feel crammed and cluttered but this was perfect. It had all you needed and nothing more. Both beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the inside and outside fireplace/fire pit

We honestly couldn't believe how beautiful and pristine the property was, the picture's don't do it justice! We ended up arriving later on in the evening, so seeing the water and views in the morning was breaking! The place was so cozy, and had absolutely everything you would need. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone, with a few of us already dreaming of another getaway here!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The place is very private and we got to enjoy the kayaks and a lovely bonfire under the stars. The hosts are very accommodating, friendly and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I have stayed at and we are already planning to come again next summer. Highly recommended!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at lake house cottage. The cottage was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway.
