Monthly Rentals in Montgomery

Absolutely loved the bothy! And Sue and Quintin. And the cat Nemo. And the sheep. And the red kites. And the fire. And the bed. And the quietness. Loved it all really. Montgomery is nice and quaint. Do go to Castle kitchen and Bunners. Steamtrain near Welshpool was nice too. Will be back!

A wonderful rural retreat - with very friendly and creative hosts . This is a very spacious, comfortable & quiet cottage with fantastic views over the countryside and superb sunsets . Our granddaughter had a wonderful time feeding the hens , observing the lambs and playing in the garden. The nearest village Montgomery has a very good cafe - The Castle Kitchen - great for coffee and cakes as well as lunches . Lians woven wall hangings and wall colours enhance the feeling of peace and calm in the cottage . We would highly recommend staying here .

We loved this property. Some very nice touches and welcoming bottle of Prosecco and Welsh cakes plus other bits and bobs ie milk, butter, bread, tea etc. Good quality kitchen appliances, crockery, glasses and cutlery and plentiful. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen/towels were excellent. Every aspect of the property was very clean. Everything we required was available and we felt very ‘at home’. Thank you Julie for making our stay very enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay at Andrea’s cottage in Montgomery. We would have stayed longer but it was fully bkd, and Andrea was super helpful with suggesting other options for us. Spacious bedrooms for a small cottage. Lovely and clean, and had everything we needed. Off road parking was a bit tricky with an estate car but plenty of free parking on the road.
