“Fabulous place..Gorgeous views...Clean comfortable bed..Clean bathroom... Loved the animals...Hosts were friendly interesting people. Fair price for a piece of Paradise. Loved our two nights there. Even in mid summer the ac worked great and was quiet. Night time we were able to open windows as great screens, and stayed nice and cool all night. Small fridge, microwave, sink, cups, plates, cutlery coffee maker with coffee, juice, yoghurts, and baked goods were all supplied so we didn't have to worry about breakfast. Wished we had stayed longer”

“This was our first stay in a tiny house, and it was just what we wanted and needed. We were able to have a low-key 4th of July weekend in a great location for all the outdoor activities we love. This was a great home base for hiking and paddling. We didn't use the kayaks provided at the tiny house as we brought our paddleboards and did plenty of paddling in both directions from the tiny house. The variety of the scenery and quality of the paddling in both directions is top-notch! We only had one minor issue with one piece of the outdoor furniture and the responses and timeliness of responses after I reported this situation were well-received. We hope to be back again and would love to see the change of seasons in this area from the tiny house home base.”
Situated on the edge of the Linville Gorge, we are 1 mile from the Pisgah National Forest and 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts, weekend warriors or book nerds. Grab a picnic and hike to a secluded river spot, road bike "The Snake" to Little Switzerland, mountain bike some of the sweetest, technical descents, trail run for hours without seeing another soul, or just pour a glass of wine and finally finish that James Patterson book.
“We loved our stay at Philip’s place! The sound of the creek is amazing to fall asleep to. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s been updated since they were taken with a roku tv and gorgeous neutral bedspread. Everything you need to enjoy a few days at the gorge! They even included oatmeal for breakfast! 10/10 would stay again. Just to note, if you are a light sleeper bring an eye mask; there’s a ton of natural light coming in in the morning which is great if you’re getting an early start on hiking but not so great if you’re trying to sleep in. Overall a lovely stay though!”
