We love rural living, and Bob's place is super. It's tucked into the forest. There are no traffic sounds - just birdsong in the mornings and frogs at night. The pond is beautiful, the koi are amazing, and the veggie gardens are extensive. Bob's house and suite are meticulously crafted. Check out the wood floors that he installed himself, from maple trees cut on his own property. Beautiful! We loved staying there and most of all, we appreciated Bob's generosity. He shared information about the area, and even spent part of one morning touring us around Duncan. We learned so much with his help. What a great host! We hope to return in future.

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at! The moment you drive down the street you feel a sense of peace & serenity. Once you arrive & enter through the gate you step into a tranquil outdoor space that is so beautiful & relaxing. This continues as you go inside the lovely suite. Carla is a wonderful host and has put a lot of extra thought into making her guests feel right at home. Highly recommend!

This was our first time in Sooke and we shared Fredrick’s place with a friend we hadn’t seen in years. The warm home like environment, the separate bedroom ,bathroom spaces worked perfectly. The views were wonderful and we dined and explored the area easily. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This home was a true gem. Friday Harbor is a beautiful place, and Simone’s home has all the things you’d need and want for a stay here. You can view parts of Jackson beach and the ocean from the deck and several rooms. The hot tub was lovely, the open space and lack of clutter was refreshing. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. When we return to Friday Harbor, I will be looking to book again.

We had an amazing stay at Colin’s place. The cabin was cozy and perfect for a weekend away in the woods. It has everything you need and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Chilling on the deck looking at the water and trees is pretty special! Colin is a great host! We brought our senior dog who wasn’t able to handle the stairs up to the bedroom in the main cottage as they’re pretty steep but we were able to use the pull out couch to accommodate.

Our weekend getaway in May with Sean and Arlene was spectacular. I would highly recommend their place if you are looking to stay in Sooke. The space is larger than what we expected from the pictures, and it was extremely cozy. The place comfortably fit our group of 4. Great attractions near by including Potholes Park and Mystic Beach. Sean was extremely responsiveness, answering any questions we had in a prompt manner. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This house will make your trip to San Juan even more memorable. Barbara’s attention to detail amazed us, we kept discovering little things around the house, like a tray with games, additional blankets and pillows to stay cozy in the living room, flashlights in the nightstands to find your way around at night (it’s actually not needed since Barbara thought about motion lights around the house). If you want to feel being taken care of, Barbara’s place is highly recommended!
