Vacation rentals in Mount Hachimori

Anju was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to all messages. The house is beautiful traditional Japanese style, spacious and was all extremely clean and organized. Her mother has a restaurant near the stay: tried the set of karage with shrimp fried, DELICIOUS! It is a very quiet village in the mountains and there is not much to do more than admire the beauty of the landscape, cross the longest hanging wooden bridge in Japan and walk along the trails, temples and sanctuaries. True escape from the city. Everything was excellent.

It was new and clean, with stylish Japanese modern design and lighting, and we had a comfortable stay. Especially the 24-hour open-air bath and sauna were great. The lighting and interior of the interior were Japanese and modern, and the owner's attention to it was great. There were also two tsubo gardens, and I felt the historic area of Takayama. There is also a service of sake, and sake was the best experience while listening to the analog sound of the battleship Yamato as a nostalgic record player. The bed mat was also very comfortable and I slept well, and I had two sets of charging cables, so I had no trouble charging when my family of four was sleeping. Thanks to the blackout roll screen, it was not bright and I slept well. There were no rental cycles such as Luup or Docomo in the Takayama sightseeing area, and there was one in the inn, so it was very convenient for me to cycle early in the morning, and I was able to walk around in a short time. My wife and daughter were impressive: the sweets were delicious, the amenities were relaxing in the hammock, the unmarked skincare set was the best, the shower head and hair dryer were impressed by the refa, and the toilet was also on the second floor, which was convenient at night.Also, the drying function of the Panasonic washing machine was good and dried quickly. We loved our stay! It is a beautiful and quirky place to stay in. You have access to all, bar included. The place is very well presented. Upstairs is very spacious with heating. Plenty of space to spread out with your luggage- you won’t feel on top of each other. The downstairs kitchen is well equipped. Location wise, it was perfect for us. Convenience store close by and many small eateries. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful space!

My group of 7 pax and I were so happy with this air bnb. When we stepped into the place, we felt right at home instantly! There were 5 rooms in total. 2 x tatami and 2 x twin bedrooms and 1 x triple on the second floor. The place was clean and all necessary items were present. Kitchen equipments provided were also sufficient for this small kitchen. Ding chairs were a bit too large for a small kitchen hence moving around for a large group was a tad troublesome. There was a big refrigerator and crockeries and utensils provided were good enough to whip up a good meal if the group feels too lazy to dine out. In fact we had our breakfast at home daily. Location was superb, just walking distance to almost anywhere. Parking was just a 3 min walk for two cars. Host was easy to communicate and she ever ready to help. If I ever visit Takayama again, I will definitely be staying here!

The Wooden house was really nice to stay in for a couple of days. The kitchen could have some more items in it so you can prepare a meal. The oven was not working at the moment. If you sleep on the deck upstairs be prepared to wake up a bit early because there are no blinds in front of the windows. other room was ok. The gas powered heaters where great and easy to use. Also the fond garden contains out of a thick mud which sticks real easy under your shoes. This is a real mess but only when it rains, otherwise it's fine. Overall a good place to stay!

Incredibly beautiful cabin with a unique character and great atmosphere. Noriko went above and beyond to ensure instructions were clear; from directions, check in, in home instructions, and recommendations nearby. Bathroom was 11/10 and gorgeous. Place was cold when we got there but provided heaters warmed it up very quickly. For those going there, Google maps directions brought you right to the front and was easy to find. If visiting during the winter season, make sure to have at least studless snow tires as roads are very icy.
