tl;dr - Very good property, I recommend it. Jeeja and Arun's stay is fantastic. It is located in a peaceful residential area and has a good view. The interiors are done very thoughtfully and match the photos. The house has a fully functional kitchen. The cleanliness is also very good. The caretaker Shameera and her son Aashiq are very sweet and they helped us with anything we mentioned to them. Shameera cooks very good food and the rate card for it is also reasonable. The host Arun was always available on call/text even though he does not live on the property. He was very responsive and helped us with any requests we had.

Had a great stay at this place. The beach is literally right outside the front gate, with an amazing sea view from the property. The hospitality was just awesome. The owner's father is a wonderful person—he even offered us home-cooked food (we had to politely decline because we didn’t want to trouble him), and he stocked the fridge with dry fruits for us. He checked in every day to see if we needed anything. All in all, a really good experience.

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

Words fall short of describing how amazing my time was at the Pearlspot Homestay. Jojo and his family were incredibly hospitable and communicative, making me feel right at home. Jojo was more than willing to coordinate everything that I needed, from transportation to meals. The homestay is conveniently located just a quick motor ride away from the train station, making it perfect for day trips to nearby Varkala Beach, while also having much to do nearby like kayaking along Munroe Island’s canals. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful and safe, surrounded by lush greenery. Perfect for either solo travelers or those traveling with groups. The stay itself is incredibly beautiful, you’ll wish you lived in it yourself. In fact, I decided to stay an extra night just because I loved it so much. The hot water and washer were great touches. It is clear much thought has gone into the Pearlspot Homestay. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!
