Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Cycle to Zipworld and beyond

This traditional quarrymans cottage is full of character, with lots of quirky features, well situated to make the most of what Snowdonia has to offer, 10 minutes stroll along Lon Las Ogwen cycle path to Zip World, Europes longest zipwire. Private sunny garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining. 10 minute woodland walk through to Bethesda High St with Tesco Express, Londis and a range of takeaways and pubs and amenities. Great walks from the doorstep up to the Ogwen valley and lakes beyond

Central but tranquil, perfect for a romantic, relaxing get away. This light, airy Shepherds hut has its own horsebox shower/toilet. Access to sauna (£10 a session) Privately set in a paddock, ideally located to explore Snowdonia and the beautiful Anglesey beaches. 7 miles from both the royal town of Caernarfon with it's castle and Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon. You’ll love my place because its a traditional grade 2 listed welsh cottage fully refurbished and set in a small hamlet within the countryside. My place is good for couples, walkers, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. PLEASE NOTE: This is a small village located a couple of miles from the main A55 road there are no shops in the village itself. Tesco is a 5 mins by car, the pub is also 5 mins by car
