Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Nagara River

The location is fantastic — just a stone’s throw from the metro, and only 10 minutes to the city center. We really liked the area because it feels local and authentic, not touristy at all. The house is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and full of natural light. Niko is lovely and very thoughtful, which made our stay even better. If I had to mention something, a few things felt a bit worn, and the place wasn’t completely spotless, which we expected. But honestly, it didn’t affect our stay. I still totally recommend it and would definitely come back!

Our family of four recently stayed at Yamano Kyoto Residence for five nights during our first visit to Kyoto, and Yamano and his wife truly made our trip unforgettable. The house is exactly as described—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities to make us feel at home. Its convenient location near the train station and bus stop made getting around effortless. The host's prompt and attentive responses to our questions were greatly appreciated. We spent 10 days in the house in April 2025. The house was well equipped and everything was as described. There is a good rail connection to the center of Osaka as the station is very close but surprisingly, there is no noise from the railway. We used the house as a base to explore Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Kobe. All these places are easily accessible by railway. Close to the house there is an excellent supermarket: LIFE. There are excellent instructions to all appliances in English and adequate heating and hot water. We didn't need the air condition but it is there. Beds are comfortable. The host was very helpful and answered all our questions. We were happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend it.

I stayed for a girls' club.The owner was very kind, and the barbecue was prepared and waiting for us.It had everything I needed, so I forgot to bring it from the house.There was an adventure garden, a delicious slow food restaurant called Sorriso, and a very delicious sausage shop called Charcuterie Galivier (perfect for the barbecue sausage, which was very delicious).The cherry blossoms were also in full bloom, and it looked very beautiful from the back room in front of the inn.You can enjoy the hot spring while watching cherry blossoms in the open-air bath of Satoyama and the open-air bath for women.Recommended!

This listing was an absolute dream come true. It’s very spacious, cozy, well-stocked with towels, linens, etc. Our host so kindly let us check-in a bit early and was so sweet and accommodating. The bathrooms and showers were so clean and had cool features. This was a wonderful stay and we really appreciated how close this listing is to various tourist spots and shopping areas like Fushimi Inari Taisha, LoFt, Nishiki Market, etc. Many places are easily accessible by train or walking. Overall we cannot rave about this Airbnb enough and we thank the host so much for her hospitality! :)

Yuya has gone beyond out expectations and has treated us as his guests on the real sense of term. The house was lovely and just right for the four of us. The kids loved the tatami and the futon beds and the large kitchen let us enjoy breakfast as a family. Train station and supermarket a few meters away.

We had a great time staying here during our honeymoon in Japan! We loved how the place was decorated and it felt like a home away from home!

We stayed with friends and family of 9 adults and 5 children, but it was large enough and there were many supplies, so we had a pleasant time. There are also a variety of toys for small children to play with. The host was also quick to respond and helpful. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It was a residential neighborhood, so we had some attention, but the stay with the sauna and water bath was very comfortable.

It seems that there are many summer users, but we used it in the middle of winter.I was able to enjoy the snow scenery rarely seen due to heavy snowfall.It was very cold, but I enjoyed watching the fire in the wood stove and making teppanyaki and pot in the fireplace.The supermarket is the closest and about 16 minutes by car, so it's a good idea to come to the inn after shopping.Bugigawa Onsen, about 20 minutes by car, was also very good.I used the pizza oven to bake and eat pizza and bread in the snow.Fortunately, the snow stopped, so there was a problem with grilling and eating on the spot.I didn't feel that cold because there was no wind.The child was in unusual snow.(High school student) I think summer is a great place!

There are plenty of kitchen utensils and tableware, and there is a traditional Japanese furnace for winter gathering with friends or family.It was winter but very warm and the homeowner prepared an electric blanket.And the price is much cheaper than the surroundings.

The B&B was beautiful, and Yuki was still very considerate to prepare the fruit bread for us.Perfect for multiple people traveling together (this time we were 11 people).It was a wonderful time.

We stayed here with a big family of 8 (with 2 kids). Overall, the home was very nice, had all the the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The Host is very friendly and it was a pleasant stay!

Everything was smooth, the bath was close, and it was a clean place to stay. The host, Takashi, also emailed me to confirm that I didn't have any problems. It was a place to stay that I thought I'd like to go again.When I stayed with a large group, I thought it would be easier to use if you could consider the price a little more.

The accommodation is a combination of traditional and modern Japanese living and is very unique in many ways. Highly recommended.

Very conveniently located! within walking distance of a conbini. Very close to a supermarket. It was so nice to have the extra rooms so each of my kids could have a room. Host was always quick to respond. It was so nice to have a big kitchen to work in and cook food in.
