You also drove us to the grocery store, helped us out there and even drove us to Narita airport the next day. Your accommodating spirit is exemplary for a host. We had a comfortable stay here. It was a little cold but the bathtub was nice. It has a great yard and a complete kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the host was polite.

Great stay experience, this time mainly to go skiing, and the accommodation is not long from the snow by car, there is also a supermarket nearby where you can buy food, the kitchen provides complete utensils and cookware, and there is enough space to use. In summary, if you go to nearby Maiko or Shiga, this is definitely a great choice.

Maneki Machiya's houses are a must try if you go to Kyoto, Japan. Nowadays modernity is everywhere with regards to housing, but this place is as traditional as it can get, and trust me there is so much beauty in that which is traditional. Additionally, if you book Maneki's cottage houses, you will be funding a good and noble cause; feeding and caring for stray cats in Japan, and helping them find their forever home. A must try for all first timers to Japan!

Great place with an attentive host. Good for getting away for some peace and quiet and not far from central Nagoya.

The facilities are very well equipped, the host responds in a timely manner, and the property is very clean. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again next time.

What a little gem. Located away from the hustle and bustle of life in Japan. This is the sort of place you go to get away from it all. Stock up at the supermarket,light the fire and enjoy the snow. It is a rural area and you will need your own transport. But it's perfect if you are in that situation. A thoughtful space with everything you need and nothing you dont. Even the firewood was precut and the fire ready to light. Maybe a little expensive for the location but I he cost will be long forgotten after experiencing the peace and quiet staying here brings.

Located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, approximately 30 mins drive to Fukuoka Intl airport and Hakata area. Lots of amenities for use such as electric grill plate and gas stove for shabu shabu. The backyard was lovely and nicely decorated and the a charcoal bbq pit could be used for an additional charge. The bathrooms and bedrooms are clean and tidy.

I stayed with 9 people on my graduation trip, but it was spacious, there were basket goals, and I've been doing it since the morning.There was also karaoke and I sang too much and my throat died.I am very satisfied.There is no complaints about it.

The guide was very polite from before to after use

Very good! Nearly perfect. The owner had mentioned it in the instructions, but one downside was that there were a lot of bugs in the pool, so I couldn't use it. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

It was more beautiful than I expected and had plenty of amenities!It was a space where I could stay all day without going anywhere.💝 I want to use it again! Thank you!

Great place to spend a weekend with family

The beautiful room and the nice response of the manager are impressive.It was used in early March and during the chilly season, but it was very comfortable with full heating.

**Ski Chalet in Hakuba** Our group had an absolutely amazing three-night stay at Chika’s chalet in Hakuba! From start to finish, everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better home base for our ski trip. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from the free Happo One ski resort shuttle, making it effortless to hit the slopes each day. The chalet itself is cozy, warm, and beautifully designed, offering the perfect retreat after long days in the snow. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. Beyond the chalet, the proximity to downtown Hakuba was a huge bonus. Bars, restaurants, and grocery stores were all within easy reach, and ski rentals at SPICY ECHOLAND made gearing up for the mountains a breeze. Whether it was grabbing a bite after skiing or stocking up on essentials, everything was conveniently located.

Great area with easy access to central Nagoya. Would definetly stay again.

Place was gorgeous, both inside and out. We loved the Koi pond in the mornings, great way to start the day. Location was lovely and quiet, just a short bus ride away from Nagano Station

We loved our stay in Higashiyama! It felt special to be situated in an area that is surrounded by culture. If you love walking and getting lost in tranquillity you’ll love staying here. Great sleep every night and the out door bath was an extra added bonus to this accomodation. Would recommend to everyone!! Ps. The hill really isn’t that bad and once you explore a little you’ll find other easier ways of getting in and out of the street :)

The view of the semi-private beach right in front was amazing. We stayed on a very cold day, but the heating was adequate, the fireplace could be used, and we had a very comfortable stay. I'd love to come back again at a different time.
