Monthly Rentals in Nethergate

The Lodge is a quaint, quirky very compact cosy place to stay. Jan is so welcoming and makes lovely fruit cake as I sampled on arrival! Which was most welcome after a long drive. Will definitely return but maybe in the spring or summer. The road leading to the village is pretty dark and quite narrow in places but the surrounding countryside is beautiful especially with the autumn colours.

Staying at the Tin Train in Briston was such a unique and relaxing experience. The converted train is beautifully designed—clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful aesthetic touches that make it feel special. The surrounding area is peaceful and picturesque, perfect for a countryside escape. One of the highlights was meeting Gary the cat, who added so much charm and warmth to our stay.
