Gîte de La Bascule

The cottage is an old house completely renovated in 2019 with a terrace that offers a beautiful view on the Morvan. It is located very close to the lake of Crescent and the castle of Chastellux, a few kilometers from Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Our region lends itself to walking, biking or horseback riding in unspoilt nature and allows fishing or swimming enthusiasts to indulge in their favourite pleasure. La Bascule is a hamlet of Chastellux, located between Avallon and Lormes.

Gite 6 people (80m²) with large terrace in house with two independent cottages with garden. Located at the bottom of a cul-de-sac on the edge of the forest, the environment is ideal for families with children. The shores and beaches of Lac des Settons (Branlasses peninsula) are less than 700m away, allowing swimming, water sports at the nautical base (paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, mountain biking, eBike) or fishing. Pets not allowed. Non-smoking accommodation.

Our lovely house is comfortable and pleasant to live in. You will love relaxing in this quiet place, surrounded by countryside and nature, have a look at stars in the sky and breathe pur air. It will bring happiness to fans of forest, fishing, hunting, Bourgogne's gastronomy, architecture, History, racetrack, zoo and park. It is perfect for couples, lonely travellers, families with children and pets. A new pond has been created for nature and fishing lovelers.

Come and relax in our house by the water. Very quiet setting close to the Merle, Baye and Vaux ponds as well as the Nivernais Canal and Morvan Regional Park where all kinds of activities are available to you such as fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking or biking. The proximity to the Etang requires us to discourage this rental for families with young children. Please note, we do not provide linens (bed sheet, towel...).
