Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Final cleaning DKK 850, - per stay. A wood basket is supplied with firewood, please bring your own wood. You pay for consumption according to the meter, electricity 3.79 kr. per kwh I reserve the right to increase the price, water 79 kr. per m3, the landlord reads at check in and out and sends a charge for actual consumption after check out.

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

The house is really nicely located on the property with a fantastic view over the seasons in Mols Bjerge. There is a large kitchen/living room and living room with wood stove, bathroom and three nice rooms with bunk or double beds. There is a huge terrace to the south and west around the house.
