Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nord-Pas-de-Calais

We had a fantastic stay for the Easter Weekend. We love Margate - have visited several time but really wonderful to have sea views from the front windows of the house this time. Magical. Beautiful house, location perfect for us. We were two families - 4 adults and 4 children in total and the house was the perfect size for our group. We each had a floor of the house, and a bathroom for each family. The kitchen/dining space was the winning area. Really great. They are also working on another lounge area downstairs- not quite finished when we stayed but would be amazing to have that second seating/lounge area. Throughout the house beautiful decor. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t recommend Lisa’s place enough. We had a different air bnb booked which cancelled on us 2 days before our trip. We were so pleased to find Lisa’s lovely home and we are pleased our original one cancelled! The house is really large and spacious, lots of room for our group of 10. Rooms were comfortable and all facilities were more than adequate for our group. Lots of seating inside and out, lovely hot tub and a lovely sunny garden. The house is on a quiet estate with ample parking. Lisa communicated really well and check in was easy. Would highly recommend

I absolutely loved staying here for 2 weeks, with my dogs. The property is beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed. The location was amazing for all the shops, restaurants/bars and the beach! Tucked away from the main street, it was peaceful and private. Steward was great. Really helpful and friendly, and was easy to get hold of. I’d love to stay here again another time. Thanks ☺️

Great location. short trips to so many beautiful beaches and bays. house is bigger than expected. down stairs was huge for 2 adults and 3 kids. No walkable shops nearby so take what you need, cafe was good when open. Lovely little village

The seafront house was very well equipped, with enough crockery etc for our extended family group. The views of the beach from the main living room were superb. We were able to watch the tide going in and out and the sun setting. The house has a friendly, family feel which we really liked. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms. My only small criticism would be the need for more proper-sized pillows. And getting rid of the rubbish was difficult, as the dechetterie is the other end of the village and not easy to find.

Dear Sylvia, Thank you very much for having us! We had a great stay! The house is super cozy and is really inviting to hang around and to spend time together. We used it as base to visit the surrounding citys Antwerpen, Brüssell and Gent and it was wonderful to come home to a cozy spacoius place with great cooking equipment. The only thing we wished we had known before is that the pool is more like a pond and if you dont mind sharing the space with some of the fish then this will be no problem. But other than that Sylvia and Peter were wonderful hosts and assisted us with any questions immediately. Thank you for your kind hospitality!

The apartment corresponded to our idea, everything was very clean. Everything necessary is available. You felt immediately welcome and at home. There was a Senseo as a coffee maker. Perfect for us. Highlighted is the good and fast contact with the landlord, who always supports you directly with help and advice. The associated private parking is also worth gold. In the area you can't park for free anywhere and in the season all parking spaces are often occupied. We were very pleased and would come back any time. Full recommendation from us!

Second time we return to this apartment and probably NOT the last time 🤩 the accommodation is super conveniently located and matches the description! The host is super responsive and nice:) check-in and checkout are done independently and super easy! There are plenty of children's games right in front of the apartment and the view is beautiful! In short, a perfect stay again! Recommended +++

We came to stay in Margate as a family of 4 during the Easter break. The flat is very close to a nice family friendly quiet beach that is still easy walking distance to the main beach. We found the flat quiet and peaceful but also very well located for Dreamland and other attractions. We had a slight mix up where not all the bed linen was provided but the owner was very responsive even late in the evening and sorted the problem quickly. A great stay, thank you very much!

Second stay here and the same impression as the first time, really great! I recommend it.

Very nice view of the sea. On the 7th (top) floor so no chair noise from the apartments above. Beautiful decor.

Very comfortable and equipped apartment, In a quiet and well-located residence, Direct access to the beach, we were able to enjoy the sunset every night, really beautiful. Direct access also for walks along the bay, to contemplate the birds, horses, grandiose landscapes at all hours of the day! The city center is very friendly with many restaurants and small shops, everything is within easy reach for a wonderful stay. Very available and friendly hosts, good advice, thank you again for everything!! We will come back without hesitation!

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Nice apartment in a nice part of town. The flat has a nice view, away from the beach. It’s on the top Floor but there is a lift, so it’s ideal for families. If you do have a young family it is a little bit of a walk to the beach but doable. Dominique is very responsive and proactive, thank you.

a very nicely furnished and clean apartment with everything you need. We especially enjoyed the location. You walk out the door and you are right by the sea. You can walk to everything. In the immediate vicinity is a small yacht club, which also offers drinks and food in a very nice ambience. We will be happy to come back.

The photos don't do it justice - the flat is literally a few steps from the beach, with sea views from the bedroom (from the bed!) and living room. Very well appointed with everything you could need in the kitchen. Nice clean stylish bathroom with shower and bath.
