Accurate listing photos and description! The welcome was very warm and especially flexible, just call Gerrit 10 minutes before being there! We were 6 friends and had a nice stay, very short, but enough to enjoy it! The beach is 15 min walk around and the campsite was very very quiet, we did not hear a noise during the stay. The cabin is one of the most remote with no close neighbors! Amsterdam is just a 30 min drive The only downside I can reproach is that it was indicated that there was everything available in the bathroom, unfortunately there was no shower gel, fortunately we had it and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the campsite! We stayed at Chantal's house with our two-year-old daughter and had a great time. The house is very cozy and with everything you need. In the garden you can relax and play. The planes can be heard, but it didn't bother us. We rented bikes and did many nice tours in the area. The staff at the park were also very friendly and there were great play opportunities for our daughter there. Chantal also provides many ideas for excursions. We highly recommend Chantal's house! :)

Quiet homey and cozy cute place that has everything you need. Annette provided things that a traveller would need. The garden is nice to chill with the birds chirping.

The chalet was exactly what we wanted, we had a wonderful week in the dunes and by the sea. All imaginable weather types came by, from very hot to storm and rain - all equally beautiful. The chalet itself is cute and pleasant, with a great kitchenette and nice beds. It is a campsite, so sanitary facilities are in a shared toilet building, but very close and perfectly clean.

This is our second time staying at this property. A beautiful chalet that has everything you need The bed is super comfortable and we also like it very much that the property and garden are very private and not visible.

We (2 couples) were over the turn of the year in Chalet 226, which is almost directly on the Ijsselmeer. In about 30 minutes of leisurely walking you can reach the center of Enkhuizen, a pretty Dutch harbor town with cafes, restaurants and shops. The amenities of the vacation home correspond exactly to the listing details and photos. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery and pots/pans. The vacation home is very clean and nicely furnished. We can fully recommend Chalet 226 and would be happy to come back. Sigrid responded to messages super quickly and recommended a BBQ, among other things, which we ordered online in advance at "Europarks Enkhuizen Strand." Plenty of meat, various delicious salads, sauces, baguettes and a gas grill with gas bottle and grill tongs were delivered directly to the vacation home on New Year's Eve. We can only recommend this service (and the bread service).

Had a great vacation! The house leaves nothing to be desired. The view of the sea is fantastic. Everything in the house is clean and tidy . In the immediate vicinity, you will find a lot of things to do and there are also shopping opportunities. We will be happy to come back !

Koos and Coby were excellent hosts; gave us lots of additional information about the area and how to get around. Especially helpful re train to Amsterdam and supermarkets. Location perfect and very central and accessible for visiting all the main tourist destinations including Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Gouda and Delft. This was exactly what we were looking for: Peace and quiet in a nice house at a great location! Wendy is a proactive and friendly host and everything works as described. We think we'll be back here!

We spent a week with our two dogs in this great cottage and the at least equally beautiful surroundings. We met Tinda in person upon our arrival. She is a very sweet person 😊 There were both "treats" for us and for the dogs. We found the bed very comfortable and it was wonderfully quiet in this place. We made great excursions around the area. My personal highlight and one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had was the "cuddling lamb" on Texel 😍 The beaches are also just a dream and our dogs had a wonderful time there!

Lovely and clean place, enough privacy with green views. Duck that came to visit, a dip in the lake and under the stars in the jacuzzi. Everything is well described , read that well , then you won't be surprised . (Parking is every in and out of drive 10 euros , that went wrong with us)

We had a lovely stay at the accommodation which is well located, close to the sea, amenities. A beautiful little corner of the country to discover. Our host was responsive and gave us clear instructions for the arrival, we found it without a problem. The accommodation is well equipped.

We were with two families (4 adults and 3 smaller children) in Vreny's and Bart's house. We felt very comfortable and were grateful for many small things such as a crib or a stair gate, which are not self-evident. Kitchen was also superbly equipped. The rooms are rather small, which was very convenient for our room layout. You can hear the train and planes in the distance, but it was never so loud that it bothered us. Our children found watching the train on the way to the playground or supermarket rather exciting (and were probably often louder themselves...). Since we were there in the summer and usually had good weather, we were often on the beach. By car, finding a parking space can be difficult. If you have a bike, you should definitely take it with you and use it. Otherwise, we liked to use the garden and barbecued there. We would gladly come back. Beautiful stay in a peaceful environment. The accommodation was spotless, young and old appreciated the comfort and space available to us. The place of residence was very well provided and we immediately felt comfortable there. Meri in Mathijs for her clear instructions and responsiveness!!! We already miss Texel...we'll be back!!!:-)

Vacation home on great grounds. Connected to nature. We were very lucky to look directly on the blooming tulip fields at the time. The bungalow is just great. Great place to go for excursions in all directions. But even if the weather didn't allow it to do anything, it wasn't tragic. Because it is very cozy with Kees and Marion. The two are nice and fun. And you can get inquiries about where you can easily get into the dunes, and what you can do. We found a week far too short and were sad when it was over. We recommend this place. Cozy, clean, equipped with everything you need on vacation. Recently, you can also use Netflix. We hope to see you again!

Cute accommodation, in a green and quiet environment, equipped with everything you need. Easy to move to tourist destinations. recommended!

It was great all around. For small babies who may crawl suboptimal, as there is a gas heater in the living room and it gets hot of course. But of course the owners can't help it and is just good to know. The chalet is in a great location and well maintained. In summer it is certainly beautiful as it is very green there,🌳 everything is easy to reach by car and the hosts always ask if everything is okay. Highly recommend!

This cozy chalet nestled in a family owned campground only minutes from the beach called ‘Ijmuiden aan Zee’ is a real gem! It has everything you need to create a home base & to unwind, get your steps in & swim in The North Sea. The hospitable hosts were able to help us with anything from directions to the nearby bikes paths in the dunes, to bike rentals, with a shop for an array of supplies.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and nice place to relax with your family, then this is the right place. Host responds very quickly, even offered us to arrive earlier than the scheduled time. The place is wonderful, I definitely recommend it.
