Farmstay vacation rentals in North Holland

Saskia & Tijmen both made us feel extremely welcome. The place was very comfortable and felt so homely (I’m already missing it!). The hosts had quite a few bikes to pick from, and we used the free bikes for a lovely bike ride on our first day. They were very responsive to messages and we spoke to them a couple of times during our stay and they were so lovely! The area was wonderful. Lots of cycle paths, and walking paths. We visited Het Graanpakhuis on our first day, and they had lovely tasting food. About 35-40 min walk, and make sure you book in advance (they’re closed on Monday and Tuesday). We walked to Haarlem and it took us around an hour. The train station is also about a 40 minute walk. Be prepared to either walk for a while, cycle, or take Ubers - either way, there are some lovely walking paths near canals. We even saw an otter swimming in one! There’s a bakery nearby and a garden centre which we didn’t visit, but they’re both around 35-40 min walk I believe. Amazing holiday!

We stayed at Valeries Air BnB for a few days as my friend was getting married at the Orangerie Elswout. The area is beautiful and has everything you could need close by. The accommodation itself was wonderful, very clean and had everything you could need for a stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

we had such a beautiful stay at polder's paradise! the bnb was super clean when we came in, and each cupboard had such a cute variety of crockery and vintage homely cups, plates, etc as well as baking equipment and all necessary appliances. the multiple soft lights around the bnb and the dimming chandeliers really gave the bnb a beautiful ambience in the late hours. the internet is super fast there despite being such a ways out from the nearest town, and the tv has everything you need :) the view outside is beautiful, you can sit on the heated porch and watch the sunset/sunrise over the lake! you are situated under 5 mins from a beautiful field of cows and goats where they are also kept in the barn next door, as well as their very friendly dog who likes to free roam around the neighbourhood and came by a few times to say hello :) sonja is incredibly friendly and kept and was in the neighbourhood at the time, and was readily available for any queries we had. we'd definitely return!

We were there with the family and all felt very comfortable from the beginning. It was very clean, the beds were so pleasant and the view in the morning a dream. The apartment was furnished with a lot of heart and love for detail and well equipped - whether it would have been possible to cook or grill and bake yourself. We enjoyed the terrace with the sun and also the living room invited you to linger. The chickens lost a very special touch. We would move in there in a heartbeat .

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

We enjoyed the stay on the houseboat! A wonderful spot on the water with a Superhost! Nice rooms, fun games and plenty to do nearby. We have enjoyed the tranquility in the immediate surroundings of Amsterdam. It was wonderful "coming home" on the ark after a busy day in the city. Marie Louise is very cozy and helpful and always ready to help! Really fantastic!!!@

I stayed here for a sowing week alone, including a number of individual (hiking)coaching sessions with Eda. So a private retreat! It is a wonderfully quiet place and super luxurious that you have both the yurt (with cozy crackling fire) and a gypsy wagon with kitchenette and bathroom at your disposal. And then also the dome, a kind of dome, where you can sit out of the wind during the day. Fantastic though! Can't wait to come back here 🧡☺️👍👌🌿

Dennis received us in a very friendly way and explained everything to us. With the bathroom you have to be a little careful as you have to go a high step. But otherwise a nice accommodation for 2 people with practical amenities. Egmond-Binnen is a few minutes' walk away, as is a supermarket. Be sure to eat an ice cream in the ice cream parlor in Indoor! Egmond by the sea is easy to get to by bike or car. A beautiful weekend with a fantastic view of the colorful tulip field.

Frank and Celia are very welcoming and give you good tips on the activities or eateries nearby. The cottage is neat, stylishly decorated and quietly located in a cul-de-sac street. Everything has been thought of, you will not be short of anything. The area is also great for cycling or hiking trips. We were there for a long weekend and enjoyed it immensely, highly recommended! A pretty little cottage in a quiet location with many extraordinary details! Large living room overlooking the fields. Well-equipped kitchen. Idyllic courtyard with BBQ and fire bowl, plus sandbox! One double bedroom is separate, the children's room right next to the living room. The upper room is on a gallery with sloping under the roof, but also very cozy. Many nearby getaways, we highly recommend Alkmaar! A holiday here is relaxing and varied! Many thanks to Leonel and Cor, who were always available and very friendly!

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

Lovely place, bright, spacious, equipped with all the comforts! And what a beautiful view! Very nice that the kitchen is well equipped with more than enough stuff to cook for yourself and not to have to wash up immediately after each used glass. Clear instructions in different places so you don't have to think about anything! Perfect for a couple of days relaxing ☀️😊

We were very warmly welcomed by Hermann! Finding the place was easy. All around, the park is still being built - but you don't notice any of it at the house!! It is very idyllic and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. For our daughter, the biggest experience was seeing the cows grazing in the pasture! You had a direct view from the window or You could sit on the bench and sat 5 meters away :) We felt very comfortable - thank you for everything!

This cabin was modern and extremely comfortable and set in a beautiful, peaceful location. The garden backs on to a canal and there is so much bird life and nature to take in. I only wish we had been able to stay for longer.

We had a great time at Hans & Marian's. The location is perfect for discovering the flower fields area and enjoying the beach. Everything is accessible by bike, the beach 10min and the park of keukenhof 15min. We had two small children (3 and 6 years old) who loved the play areas in the holiday park and the games for the children present in the house. Communication with Hans & Marian was very friendly and very fluid. Thanks again for a great stay 😊

We were greeted in a very friendly manner, even drinks and nibbles were ready:) Karin is a great landlady, always available. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean and has a protected terrace. The location is beautiful, both the beach and the small town can be reached on foot in just over 20 minutes. We felt completely comfortable and would gladly come back.

We had a lovely stay at Annemarie's place. The view from the window is beautiful and we found the house very peaceful and comfortable for our family. We loved having access to the bikes and enjoyed exploring the local area on them. Annemarie was a great host, warm and friendly on arrival and when we said farewell.

Had a few wonderful days in the May holidays. Cottage is in a nice spot in the back of the holiday park with unobstructed views over the fields and at a sufficient distance from the road. The bikes provided were really a plus. All in all definitely recommended!

The country house is just outside, which makes it all the more cozy. Amenities are good. The only real "disadvantage" I found the pigeons of the immediate neighboring property. If you don't mind the sounds, it's really perfect.
