Unbeatable location right on the lake, breathtaking view of the lake, spacious and clean. We loved it

We spent a week in this beautiful villa. The view from the pool is incredible, there’s a covered seating area next to the pool too, and we spent lots of time there! There’s also a lower lawn perfect for yoga or meditation if you’re that way inclined. Every room has its own en suite, plus there is a poolside shower and toilet facilities downstairs. In general the villa is very well equipped. It was very hot while we were there, but then it was August! You definitely need cars and also to be a confident driver - roads are in good condition, mostly, but with lots of hairpin bends and steep inclines, driving is not for the faint hearted! There is an easier and a harder way into the village so choose your route wisely and stick to the bigger roads if you can. We had thoughtful welcome and leaving gifts from the host, which was lovely, and when we couldn’t get the grill to work they came straight away. The hosts couldn’t have been more responsive or helpful. The area is stunning, local wine is delicious and if you like truffles you are in for a treat at practically every restaurant you visit. Even though the village itself feels quite remote, you can get to the coast and various big towns and supermarkets within about half an hour. We visited various towns and istralandia water park which we all loved, especially the kids. So you can choose to have a complete retreat in a beautiful quiet and peaceful location, or to use the villa as a base for seeing more of Istria. We had a great time.

There are no words to describe the beauty of this place or the hospitality of the family taking care of the house. We stayed here for a month and had the most wonderful time. The house has everything you need, the terrace is a great place where to hide from the sun and the garden with the pool is just amazing. BTW, the pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The family working for the host are the most welcoming & kind people. They threw an incredible welcoming party for all the guests - dozens of self-made pizzas, local wines, prosciutto.. Moreover, they even organized a wine tasting in a local vineyard in Villa il Pozzo. I could continue forever with this review, but the most important thing is that we felt welcomed, loved & still had our privacy & we made friends for a lifetime here. As per the location, it is in a lovely small town with a little shop, 1 bar and 2 restaurants. The town is located near Florence and many other small & incredibly beautiful towns & villages (that are definitely worth visiting!)

Ds Rustico is exactly as described. It has everything you need - we find it. The upper floor overlooking the attic is great. Marta is a wonderful host. The reception was very warm and personal. We are grateful to have been able to meet Marta and stay in her Rustico. For our dog, the fence (the wall) was not high enough. But no one could guess that ;-) Behind the house a deer visited us in one day. Beautiful. Just as beautiful: watching the sunrise from the bedroom.

We stayed in this house for 4 days in 5 people plus a 3-year-old. Very nice house, defined and accessible spaces, very large and cozy garden. Upstairs location with gorgeous day and night views. Alberto and Vania are very kind and helpful. Tip!!

Dream apartment in a large, quiet and well-kept garden. Ideal for those who want to spend a few days in peace. The apartment has everything you need to cook and relax. Very clean and tastefully furnished environment. I'll definitely be back if I get back here

Had a wonderful vacation in Lucca. Lovely villa and swimming pool. Surroundings where you only hear the birds chirping. The road to the villa was a challenge every day with our van. We greatly enjoyed it and our batteries are recharged. Recommended!

Amazing airbnb. We stayed with a group of 7 and had a great time. The location is beautiful with nice walks and towns nearby. Mauro prepared pizza dough for us and helped us light the pizza oven so we could bake our own pizza. They also have a shop with lovely self-grown products. The sauna and fireplace are the finishing touches. We were really happy to have found this place!

We had a great time in this beautiful mansion! The view and the nature surrounding the property are just breathtaking. The terrace is perfect for a big group of people, it's very spacious. The communication with Maurizio was also very good! We had some minor problems, for example with the coffee machine or the electricity in the house, but Maurizio was really quick to reply, I could text or call him and would always get a fast answer. He was always friendly, caring and helpful! To get to or away from the house, you need to take some time, as the gravel road is a challenge, especially for small cars.

We enjoyed our stay every day. The house is so incredibly well integrated into the beautiful surroundings, a true architectural achievement. The whole area up on the mountain is also exciting for children to explore. After a few days, you really take the three donkeys to your heart and they run towards you happily when you pass by with carrots and apples. The house is beautifully furnished, using only natural materials and furniture with patina and history. Nothing is missing and there is nothing superfluous. You feel very, very comfortable. And the view from the terrace is even more beautiful than in the photos. If you're looking for peace and seclusion on holiday, this is the place for you. There are many hiking trails and you can virtually start right from the house. The service provided by the hosts also leaves nothing to be desired. Very friendly, always available and every wish is taken into account. You feel really welcome. Many thanks again for that!

Montefegatesi is a very well-kept village. Alessia's house is really very well maintained and the surrounding view is lovely. It's a great place to stay for a retreat in the peace of nature. From Montefegatesi there are several well-marked routes even for non-experts. We'll be back!

A beautiful home in a great environment. The furnishings were very personal and tasteful. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. James and Philippa were quick to answer any questions and very helpful. Many thanks to the two for a beautiful holiday.

The pictures certainly do not do the location the justice it deserves. The home is so cool, and so amazing. The design is great. The huge kitchen and dining room table or used every single day. somehow, even know you are encased in concrete and rock, lol, the home did not feel sterile. It felt lived in and comfortable. The town of Vals is quiet but friendly. The drive up and down the mountain is quite an adventure - fun at times - terrifying at times, as you pass enormous trucks on a blind corner with no railing. But once at the top, the views are stunning. We literally felt like we woke up in a postcard every day. once in a lifetime trip, with a once in a lifetime location. Would come back tomorrow and stay much longer if we could. ♥️💛 TK

We are very mountain lovers and wanted a house in the woods and this farm exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, exactly as you expect a real mountain farm, surrounded by meadows and woods, immersed in peace and quiet, secluded but at the same time only 800 meters from Castello Tesino easily reachable on foot. The interior is furnished in an essential but very cozy way. Violante is a very kind and very helpful person and also Marco, who welcomed us, made us feel immediately at home. In Violante, a special thanks for your generous offer, we will definitely meet again, we hope as soon as possible.

A beautiful stone house set in the context of a farm in a very quiet location in the heart of the Chianti Classico hills. The spaces were beautiful, everything was very clean and the place was well equipped. Alice and Bianca were very kind, helpful and welcoming, impeccable communication. Highly recommended!!

It was a great experience to be here. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and showed us everything in peace. The breakfast was fantastic, and just for us a lot of extra vegan on request. We would recommend it to anyone and would be happy to come back. The animals were also great and the kids jumped right into the pool.

The house is located in a peaceful and beautiful area where the locals were extremely friendly and helpful. Villa Elisa was well-appointed and a perfect base from which to explore San Marino, Rimini and San Leo (to name a few). Thanks to Luca's excellent recommendations we also discovered superb swimming pools and restaurants.

We only spent a night but loved the chicken, dog and cats, the great breakfast and warm welcome. Claudia and her husband even lighted the chimney for us at breakfast. Very special. Perfect with kids!

The location of the home is beautiful, the view of the castle of Badia a Passignano and the vineyards. The kids enjoyed the yard, there are animals. The house has its own patio with table, barbecue, beautiful nature. The position is also great for visiting Florence, San Gimignano Siena, Pisa. I recommend for visits better to visit small places nearby than going to Florence or Pisa. Bianca and Alice were always available and available on Whats up. Even the pool was open even though it couldn't really get warm in the sun. Great for a family vacation. Thanks again for your hospitality.
