We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Gloria is the perfect host! She met us at her door and showed us around her lovely home to explain essentials - where the coffee was, how to lock/unlock access to her charming garden, where to find additional sheets and pillows if needed, and so much more. Fresh fruit and candy awaited our arrival! Her home is exceptionally CLEAN, a very important factor for us. Gloria is very responsive, and easy to reach. She provided recommendations for restaurants, which we appreciated. The sites, shopping, and picturesque waterfront of Tønsberg are all within an easy walk. We enjoyed our time there and if ever needed, we'd gladly stay in her welcoming home again. Signed, "A very pleased American Grandmother!"

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Aase Ragnhild's place. The home is beautifully decorated. Three nice and large bedrooms. Large bathroom. Nice kitchen! Here's everything you could need. Peaceful and nice surroundings. And Aase Ragnhild is a very nice and caring host. Recommended!

Lovely cottage with a large lovely hot tub. Perfect for large group of friends or multiple families. Also located very nicely with a good distance to the next cabin.

Had a wonderful stay in natural and quiet surroundings. In addition, we were very well taken care of by Anne and her mother after a small family accident, who deserve some extra attention.😇 We would gladly came back!

A beautiful and peaceful place of which we will keep wonderful memories! We immediately felt at home in this little cocoon by the water. Lots of charm, great tranquility and a soothing view. Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The cottage has everything you'll need. Rune is extremely helpful and quick to respond. We felt completely at home. You can catch perch and trout in the lake; there are a lot of blackberries (nice for the pancakes), a blackberry bush and plum tree, delicious! There is a compost toilet and the water from the tap is not drinkable; but there was water in jerry cans ready. You have to assemble the shower yourself (hot water in a container and attach the automatic shower) but has its charm so outside showering in nature
