My family of four accommodated us.It was my first private lodging stay, so I bought sashimi and boiled fish at a fresh fish shop that locals buy along the way, and ate it at the inn. The children arrived and started playing with the loads, and enjoyed the video watching on the large screen like a movie theater. It was heavy rain on the first day, so my travel plans changed, and as soon as I asked Nami-san about a place that the kids could enjoy in the room, they responded right away. The dryer was also convenient, and the coffee pulled with the inn's coffee mill was delicious! Thank you!

What a beautiful, minimalist apartment just by the sea (two roads across), which is audible and visible. Toshi and Reiko are great hosts, there attention to detail is remarkable, everything you need is there and their assistance is very helpful. Usami itself is a small village with few shops, few hikes around (yet difficult to find). It is well connected by train, too, we arrived from Hiroshima and went to Hakone and Tokyo afterwards. Perfect for a getaway from the buzzing tourist cities and to feel at home in Japan! Again, thank you, if possible we will be back or at least highly recommend.

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The place is really beautiful and the view is amazing when you wake up. It's perfect for a quiet moment of rest during a stay in Japan.

I stayed for one night on May 4 with 7 adults and 3 children (elementary school students). There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor. 1 room "2 beds for 2 adults" 1 room "1 adult bed x 3" 1 room "1 bed for 2 adults, 1 adult x 1" It can accommodate a total of 10 guests. There is a living room and kitchen on the second floor, and two shower rooms, but the dressing room is together. * There was a washing machine, dryer, and two laundry detergent. 1 jacuzzi and shower room on the 3rd floor There is one toilet each time. The jacuzzi is large enough for 3 adults. I was a little naked, so I thought it would be possible to cool down on the balcony and enter in a swimsuit and get hot. Also, there is new hot water in the jacuzzi from the beginning, so I will put it in as soon as I go.I appreciated this. The hot water temperature can only be adjusted to 40 degrees, so if it's hot, you should adjust it in the side shower. We were blessed with the weather and had a great view on the day! The photos on the site were beautiful and I decided to stay here, but I saw Mt. Fuji, which is more powerful than the photos. I was so happy that I had such a luxurious time. The view from the balcony and jacuzzi is stunning, and we want everyone to taste it! It was an inn that I would like to visit again in another season. Thank you very much! * It may be improving at the time on May 4,↓ 2025 * * One unfortunate thing The horizontal window sash over the head of the bedroom with two double beds on the first floor (the window with propane on the outside) No matter how close it was, there was a gap of about one finger, and there was a cold breeze coming off my head all through the middle of the night, so I couldn't sleep at all.It's newly built... I hope to improve as soon as possible.

We had a perfect stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. This was the first listing I think I could actually live. We visited 3 nights with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter. Plenty to do in the area, either closeby or an hour driving away. The host was super kind, very quick to respond on any questions we had and gave tips during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

It has been a great experience visiting yugawara. We had great time staying in this lovely house. It is near to Lawson, taxi stand, bus stop, and sightseeing area, which is very convenient for elderly . Very peaceful town to visit. The house has everything we needed. We definitely would like to come back to stay at this place and enjoy nature in yugawara again.

Staying here was totally above and beyond all my expectations, and when booked, the host shoko would have been aware of the personal situation, the travel schedule, interest preferences.On the day of your stay, wait in front of the room, patiently explain the use of every item in the house, and at the same time provide local specialty sweets pastries as a meet and greet.Then, every day of check-in, asked if they needed help, tried to help with every problem, and they sent a snack back that night.On the day of check-out, the weather was inadequate and raining, shoko waited early, and called her husband to drive us to the station, and finally gave us a delicious gong-burn as a farewell gift.Then every part of the house can see the care of the shoko, clean, well prepared items, extra ear-hanging coffee, tea bags, and more.It was the best experience since I traveled in so many years. I will come to Fuji next time, or a friend will come to Fuji, I definitely recommend it 100%!

what a wonderful place to stay. Place was spacious and quiet, good spot to get away from the city. if the weather is right , it has a great view of Mt. fuji. bikes that were offered was a plus! especially if you want to get around in that area. would recommend a car or trains if you want to go closer to the mountain

Beautiful space just as advertised. Very good heating and amenities. We found the location convenient for a family with young children with a rental car- easy to get to various places in Odawara, lake Ashi, ropeway and the open air museum. Rei was very responsive, checked in on us and assisted where we needed promptly. Hope we get to stay again!

Easily one of the best places I've stayed at in Japan. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the condo that we stayed in was so unnecessarily spacious it felt like luxury.

We stayed with Yoko for the second time and again very satisfied. The apartment is incredibly large and everything you need was there. The beds are very cozy and Yoko took good care of us, she even cooked something extra for us. We will definitely be happy to come back!

I liked that the place was so quiet. Still, it was convenient because it was a tourist destination just a 10-minute walk away!
