The local recreation area of Niederwangen invites you to hike, run and cycle in summer. In winter, it serves as the perfect starting point for winter sports fans due to its proximity to the Allgäu Alps and the cross-country trails right in the village. The nearby Lake Constance, the cities of Lindau (17 km) and Wangen im Allgäu (4 km) offer a variety of sports and excursion possibilities, so that holidays are possible here all year round. The apartment is located directly on the bike path, from where you can start numerous tours.

Very quiet location. Terrace from which the sunset can be observed. Contact with animals is possible. We currently have donkeys, sheep and cats. Many excursions in the surrounding area. Very nice bike and hiking trails possible directly from the house. Lake Constance is just 15 km away. Short drive for excursions to the mountains and Lake Constance. Many hiking and mountain biking opportunities directly from the property. Guided mountain bike tours can be provided upon request, too.

* Skiing / Biking / Hiking / Swimming * The house with garden and pool (May–September, not heated) offers a sensational view over the Rhine Valley to the Swiss mountains. It has room for 7 people. Hiking and biking tours start right by the house. Bregenz is about 1 km away, and Lake Constance is 10 minutes away. The Bödele (ski resort/hiking) is about 25 minutes away. The ski resorts (Lech, Zürs, Silvretta, Bregenzerwald, Damüls, Mellau, Warth) can be reached within 40–60 minutes.

Our house is about 300 years old - a typical Allgäu settler house made of wood, of which there are fewer and fewer. We have extensively ecologically restored it and equipped it with all the modern comforts you could wish for: ceramic stove, oven, washing machine, microwave, oversized shower, washing machine, Wi-Fi, etc. If you heat with wood in winter, the whole house smells cozy. Clay plaster ensures a cozy indoor climate. Right on your doorstep you will find a bakery and dairy.

The house is located about 15 / 20 minutes by car from some of the areas finest ski resorts like Mellau / Damüls, about 35 / 40 minutes to Austrias best and largest ski destination, the Arlberg, which is connected via Schröcken / Warth by direct cable car connection.

We are renting out a newly built and lovingly furnished apartment in the old cowshed with its own bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Of course, you can use our garden shed, lawn, barbecue and playground. Parking is available right on the farm. You are also welcome to explore our farm. We are still a working farm, so of course there are also many animals on the farm, but of course the tractor also drives around from time to time or a cow moos.

In our former, newly converted barn, we offer simple but fully equipped 44 square meter accommodation for uncomplicated guests. Our farm is located in a quiet and beautiful environment. We run an organic farm with cows, chickens, horses and cats. Our garden invites you to linger and in case of rain there is a covered seating area. A sofa bed is available for a child, and a travel crib can also be accommodated. Welcome!

Wangen im Allgäu is 5 km away and Lake Constance or the Alps can be reached in 30 - 45 minutes. An anteroom has space for e-bikes and strollers.
