Idyllic cottage.

The accommodation consists of an old soldier's cottage, where the main building consists of a kitchen/dining room and living room on the ground floor and on the upper floor 2 bedrooms with a bed in each room and a living room with a sofa bed with 1-2 beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a guest house consisting of a bedroom with two single beds and a room with a sofa bed with 1-2 beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the guest house, there is also access to a washing machine, dryer and drying cabinet.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. On a ridge overlooking northern Lake Vättern's beautiful archipelago lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inputs. Here a slightly larger group/family can find recovery close to nature but still it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful little town of Askersund. Tivedens National Park is close as well as the long sandy beach Harjebaden. The house was completed in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.
